You couldn’t pay me enough to attend either the Cleveland or Chicago games…but I will take some under action and watch my money roll in from my warm and cozy couch!

He's speaking of a "game total" NOT picking a side based on weather. If you hang around long enough and comprehend what knowledgeable people post you might learn something sir. GL to you.

This is true

Good angle. Offense has too many advantages. Footing is more important to defense. D has to react vs offense which doesn’t as much. Big advantages passing. Decent running.

Wind is the over killer. Cold not so much. Unless just bad offense both sides in general.
Exactly!

No major snow accumulations during the games. Very cold and near 30 mph winds with gusts over 40. It’s hard enough to play in temps of 10-15 degrees or with high winds. Now try grasping and throwing a ball when the wind chill will be -20. Or kicking a rock into that wind.

This community needs more information sharing so I try to do my part. If someone doesn’t feel that strong winds combined with frigid cold doesnt impact a game, so be it, but we are all more knowledgeable going into the weekend. Best of luck to everyone and hope we all make it to the window to cash out and pay for Christmas!!

Cold isn’t the focus imo. Offense has tiny edge in cold cold. Granted you have to figure out if each team is somewhat anemic on offense. Cold cold the thing I’d say is on defense you are a bit slower. Hard to explain, but you just move a little less quicker and hitting can be more sloppy. Tackling can be sloppy in cold cold. Again, defense is a react while offense is far less reaction

Wind is the over killer. Hinders kicking and passing obviously. And changes play calling.

Snow is over equity due to offense with such an advantage on knowing where vs defense having to react. Footing is easier on offense vs defense. Offense is more vertical movement vs defense lateral and timing and reaction. You can pass in snow much easier than most think. Big advantages in passing actually. Running as well as premeditated movements are typically small short burst. And often vertical. Vs a horizontal reaction to defense. Hard getting to the edge on pressure, play action is harder to react to and usually causes a bit more hesitation as the run is more expected. DBs have it tough. Back peddling bad footing vs one cut WR and more vertical movements. DB May need 3-4 cuts alone reading a pass play. LBs can’t move horizontally as quick. DE can’t get up field and use speed as much.

Value to overs in snow snow!
Value to unders Windy windy
Value to unders windy cold cold
Value to overs cold cold
Heavy rain n wet fields are tricky. More turnovers and defense can flip fielding etc limiting possession times on scoring drives etc. can go both ways sloppy rain

While I agree that temps are not an advantage to an under or an edge to home teams
When it is single digits as it is going to be in some games this week along with wind chill.

When it is single digits with wind chill I do believe it affects performance as you can't move as fast
or have as much stamina physically. At those temps the football is a brick, difficult to catch and it gets very slick. I do think it helps an under and possibly the home team depending on the visitor.

New Orleans going to Cleveland in those conditions. 9 degrees wind 25 mph
Also looking at really cold weather and some wind in a few games

Chicago 6 degrees, wind 18 mph Bills, no affect to them
KC 6 degrees, wind 10 mph Seahawks, could affect them
Pittsburgh 10 degrees, 13 mph Raiders, could affect them
Tennessee 16 degrees, 10 mph Texans, could affect them
Baltimore 16 degrees, 16 mph Falcons, could affect them

You think the cold affects these teams but not the home team?

I did not say that... When it is single digits with wind chill into the negative temp numbers
it affects everyone. Dome/warm weather teams in that type of weather will definitely cause them issues

How much it affects a cold weather team, who knows, don't think it will as much as the visiting
warm/dome teams Add in wind and kicking could be an adventure for both teams

Passing depends on the stadium and how the wind comes into it, down at field level there could be minimal wind in some stadiums while up top the wind is whipping around.

I look at team totals in these games, under could be a good play.
FH and game totals also. possibly some player prop bets also
