Let's say I go into a sports bar....a decent one...with loads of guys there with whom I'm fairly aquainted. I announce to everyone that I'm going to interview Serena Williams and if they have any questions they'd think of.....

WHAT DO YOU THINK I'M GOING TO GET, NO MATTER HOW SERIOUS I AM ABOUT IT? I know you know, Chris, as a writer/journalist you must consider your audience.

No one meant any harm and were just goofing around. You take the silly with the serious and don't expect much more when you throw out threads like the one you did to the audience here, me included! That thread had the potential of being one of the funniest threads of all time.That fucken Clip Joint had me rolling after he posted about her awesome body.I'm still laughing just trying to figure out if he was serious, or not.I really respect Clip,because he is one sharp,sharp knowledgable person.But I just flipped out when I read what he wrote.And then Yandick agreed that all his bodies say the same thing,and finally all hell was going to brake lose till they 86'd that thread.Shit I went out to breakfeast with the family and couldnt wait to get back and read the rest of that thread. Know thats a bad fucken beat retiring that thread.Oh the potential that one had.

I couldn't agree more. There was no reason to take the ball and go home. And does one REALLY care if something breaks out in one of "their" threads? Isn't it everyone's thread once it's posted?

I also wanted to point out the correct saying was "I couldn't care less", not "I could care less", but it's forever gone. A serious journalist should at least know his cliches.
