I expect him to be back in college in a few years. He would be lethal at a school that gets any player like Texas or USC.

it would be fun to see him at the U
Not surer USC would move away from the Pro Set juest because of the number of good QB's in the area, HOWEVER, it would be SCARY seeing him down on the 40 Acres. With the resources they have and the talent in the state, they would have the potential to dominate for years to come

USC is the choice if Sark keeps drinking......

I like that idea. And with sark losing to Stanford sat he might be on his way out with his preseason issues.

Itd td be really fun to see chip Kelly and USC against Oregon at least once a year.

Only question id have is if USC would want to change to that scheme

Wouldn't happen....texas would be a fantastic fit for him however. The program is in disarray and need a high profile coach that can keep up with art briles and Patterson... Hot bed of talent that Oregon already had a pipeline thru while he was there, he could pick up where he left off. the big 12 is Much easier competition in terms of the defenses you face each week, so It would be an easy transition in terms of offense for him him. On top of those things, Texas would likely offer him the same money as urban and Saban are making. They've got endless amounts of talent and very deep pockets....

Chil aint going anywhere..eagles will win division..they are gonna start getting hot and those types of teams going into the playoffs are dangerous..rather get the slow start out of the way and see them play well rest of the way

Good points. Would Texas want to change their philosophy for his system?

are they more of a traditional style of offense under Charlie strong? I haven't watched any Texas football this year.

I could see see though that idea as it could make sense I suppose.

Just st seems like strong has plenty of backing in Texas right now

I only caught the first half of Sunday game but to me Eagles didn't look great.

Maybe kelly needs a different qb for that system?

i still believe he's going to end up back in college fb if Eagles don't make playoffs this year

Would not surprise me, the NFL is a lot different and neither Saban nor Spurrier had any success there as well. There have not been many cases of successful college coaches who did the same in the NFL, maybe Harbaugh and that was not sustainable. I guess Pete Carroll is the major exception

At USC he would absolutley kill it:

Chip Kelly (Oregon Ducks 2009-2012): Overall Record at Oregon (46-7) an 87% winning percentage. Chip was 33-3 in the P10/12. For comparison, Pete Carroll was 83-18 overall with an 82% winning percentage and 53-14 in the P10/P12.
4 consecutive BCS games. Rose Bowl in his first year. National title game in his second year. Rose Bowl in his third year and then Fiesta Bowl in his fourth year. Three straight conference championships. Two years after Kelly left, his successor took Kelly’s recruits and went back to the title game losing to Ohio State. Kelly’s QB Marcus Mariota won the Heisman Trophy in 2014.

With the talent he would be able to recruit at SC -which recruits itself- but you put a big name coach in there and fuggetaboutit. Home run hire for SC and unless Texas or Alabama jobs open up it is the best College option out there for a big name who wants big dollars.Think Saben leaving the Dolphins. Ya, it could happen

I it's official

fired today

what college does he end up taking?

i think he suffers badly from short man syndrome... those gimmick offenses dont work in the nfl, its a different game. can do that shit in college and confuse young kids getting away with it for awhile. have yet to see an offense like his win anything in college i might add.. lots of meaningless wins but big L's when it counted
