Personally, I don't care about this stupid gesture. It's the special treatment that pisses me off.

It’s the inconsistency of calling it against some and not others. It’s not just Mahomes. I see players still doing it all the time but no penalty. But some players have been penalized for doing it. It’s either a penalty or it isn’t. Can’t call it sometimes and not others. Must be part of the script.
