The Blackhawks have dropped five of their last six games with the most recent being a 4-3 loss in Detroit on Wednesday night. But before that, Chicago reeled off five consecutive wins, and it should also be noted that in their only meeting against the Panthers this season the Hawks skated to a 4-2 victory as +206 home chalk.
Look, I’m not crazy about throwing good money on bad teams but I also know value when I see it. The Panthers are not even a playoff team at this late juncture and the only reason they are as high as a -476 favorite is due to the public auto-fading the Blackhawks.
Nope, not me. The odds on Florida should never be this high no matter what team they’re playing so we will take a flier on a huge dog and keep our fingers crossed.
