D.C. United is coming off an impressive win last Thursday as they defeated New York 2-0. Josh Wicks started for the third consecutive game in goal. "I think I had a great game and it shows once again, if they need me and do decide to call on me, they have a solid guy that is going to play well," said Wicks. "Being a 'keeper is all about being consistent and I think I'm starting to get on a roll, I'm starting to be more consistent and I think my team is starting to have confidence in me."
Chicago comes into Saturday’s match having lost two straight including a 1-0 loss to Houston last Friday. "They had one chance on goal," Chicago coach Denis Hamlett said, "Good teams will punish you and Houston is a good Soccer Betting team. We didn't concede too many set pieces. We kept them at bay. It is disappointing on that play, losing the game." The Fire have been shutout in two straight games. "I thought that other than the one goal, C.J. [Brown] and Dasan [Robinson] did very well. I thought we played well and created a lot of chances. ... They're a dangerous team, and I thought we handled it well. We just couldn't find the back of the net," said goalkeeper Jon Busch.
