As you mates can see im a die hard Man Utd fan! :toast: But as we can see it seems Chelsea will run away with this years Premier title. Does anyone dought this? Thoughts and comments please. My personal opinon is to much talent does not mean there the best team out on the pitch. Real Madrid was a prime example and Brasil as well. I see most books have Chelsea -300 to -350 to win the title. Cheers!

Chelsea Football Club: the best team that money can buy. They remind me of the New York Yankees, a team that is comprised of players with high salaries compared to the rest of the league. I don't care for them for that reason alone.

I don't see any other team challenging them as Man Utd. and Arsenal keep shooting themselves in the foot by losing matches they should win outright. The Blues seem to win their matches.

nobody can challenge Chelski. Fergie is clueless right now at United, likely to lose Ruud and Ronaldo and bringing in nothing but a young Chinese striker. Heard he's on the market for Kerlon (Cruzeiro) which would be great, but would not pay off for 3-4 years because he is so inexperienced. I see the board going Chelski - Liverpool - United - Gunners with 2-3-4 really interchangeable

Chelsea will run away with it. United will not even finish within 10-14 points of them. Liverpool and Arsenal will battle out for third and fourth respectively. The best bet out there right now is Spurs (without the top 4) at 6/4. They will finish in the top 5 this year.

Personally, I think Arsenal is the 2nd best team. They had miserable injury problems last year and went through some rough patches, but played well when healthy (as evidenced by their CL run). If they can stay healthy last year they will be much better. They lost no one of value off last year's team, will presumably be healthy and have added Rosicky. If they can keep Cole and stay healthy (in a normal football sense, not remarkably healthy with no one getting hurt), I think they finish second. ManU just keeps losing guys and not replacing them with anyone of value.
