I think the total in this game flies over. I really thought this total would come at least 2 1/2 over or 3 under. I played it over 2 and 2 1/2 at Pinnacle. Bayern Munich will come out and attack from the opening whistle and their coach has said they'll do just that. This will lead to goals from the home side but will also leave them open to Chelsea's counter attack. Bayern will welcome back Makaay and Pizarro for this match.

I like the Chelsea defense but they've shown a few cracks in recent matches and I also think Oliver Kahn is no longer a world class goalie. This makes the play on the "over" even stronger than it already is. Because of the two goal deficit, Bayern will open up this match from the start and I see an entertaining game with a lot of goals.

I agree, this does seem to have the makings of an over game

I could be dead wrong too, but this game should be easy cake for the over. Bayern needs goals obviously, and Chelsea is going to want to get a least a goal. I am seeing like a 2-1 or 3-1 Bayern win. Should be an easy, easy over. Good Luck!

That smelled like a fix. Didn't both teams get what they needed?

bayern needed to score another goal to at least have a chance to qualify for the next round or take chelsea on in extra time. Chelsea tightened up defensively and gave up two goals in extra time. They probably slacked off after scoring the 2nd goal by drogba.

InSpades- As wildemu mentioned, Bayern Munich still needed another goal to force 30 minutes of extra time. Once Drogba made it 2-1, that meant that Bayern Munich needed three goals. Chelsea hung on but I would be willing to bet that Jose Mourinho is none too happy with their sloppy defensive play lately. I think a large part of that is the absense of Paulo Ferreira. Quite frankly, Bayern Munich should have had even more than the three goals they scored.

As far as any shenanigans in the match; whenever there's a lot of scoring in any event, be it a soccer match or a basketball game, near the end and the lead changes hands then people will always have some doubt. That's the nature of the game and trying to pick the side that cashes.

Not really, Chelsea are through to the semi-finals, Bayern Munich go out.

Its like an NFL postseason game where one team is down by three TD's and scores a couple of TD's in the fourth quarter. It cheers up the fans but doesn't matter in the long run.
