This is the largest of my Sports Betting life.

I wont go into the amount because it doesn't matter to anyobody except me. Suffice is to say, if this bet wins I am in for a very big payday.

CELTIC (-1) -127 over AaB Aalborg (Pinnacle)

Celtic have a wealth of riches on the pitch this season and, more importantly, they are very healthy. Strachan will have a tough time selecting his team today because he has so many great players available. All of Hinkel, Vennegoor, Hartley, McGeady and Nakamura did not play on Saturday but are available today. Throw in Maloney, Brown, Crosas, Robson, McDonald, Samaras, McManus, Caldwell and you have a very deep and potent line-up. Celtic also play very well at home, winning all 6 games in the last two Group Stages knocking off much bigger teams such as Manchester United, Juventus and AC Milan.

Aalborg are probably the worst team in this competiton. They have had a very poor start to their domestic campaign and are the first Danish side to qualify for the Champions League Group Stage. Aalborg are too inexperienced a team to handle the atmosphere that will be at Celtic Park tonight and should be completely dominated by Celtic from the opening whistle.

Good Luck

I like the call here aswell and good luck!

I hate taking a "soccer" team by 2 goals though but at least a one goal win is a push

Aalborg with a quality manager (ex-Bolton, ex-Arsenal) that knows Scottish football inside and out. Celtic hosted Danish champs Copenhagen in 2006 and only beat them 1-0. I would never advise any big money in UEFA cup or CL as the craziest results are seen here (Werder 0-0 at 1.20...)

but good luck!

Sure.... WERDER BREMEN 0-0...... ROMA 1-2

But not many would have predicted CHELSEA 4-0 or 1-2 LIVERPOOL, either.

CELTIC are pure quality at Celtic Park. Your point about the Aalborg Manager is well taken. His tactics are very similar to a lot of the current Scottish Premier teams, which makes me like this wager even more. Celtic are very used to the style that Aalborg currently play and will see nothing that they don't already face from sides such as Aberdeen, Motherwell or Falkirk.

Also, this is the Group Stage when the contenders raise their game and the pretenders are exposed. This round is much different than the Preliminary Rounds and Aalborg will be out of their depth.

Good Luck

I think they need to take Samaras off for Vennegoor at the start of the 2nd Half. Samaras' anticipation of balls coming into the box has been terrible.

Whatever happens at the start of the 2nd Half, Strachan should make some adjustments and Celtic take the 3 points.
