Valencia at AS ROMA
AS ROMA captain will be absent tomorrow; Perrotta also doubtful. Despite offensive arsenal available to adequately replace these two, I doubt that it will be sufficient for any kind of goal scoring creativity. Previous formation announced by Spalletti was in the order of 4-2-3-1. Because of the absence of primarily Totti, am inclined to believe that this will shift to <st1:date Month="4" Day="4" Year="2002">4-4-2</st1:date>. Roma only need 1 point to advance, and will not take <st1:country-region><st1:place>Valencia</st1:place></st1:country-region> lightly, who, in many ways, has really nothing to play for with first play secured. I have no choice but to chase the under, in a match that should have only one participant in the attacking mode.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
The play: AS ROMA under 2.5 goals -138 (5 units)... May add more to this tomorrow. Also tempted to take <st1:country-region><st1:place>Valencia</st1:place></st1:country-region> +0.5, +1 +126. Still the one true play is the under.<o:p></o:p>

Best of luck to all,<o:p></o:p>

I've been debating this one in my head. Valencia are a mess due to injuries, but still defensively strong. Roma play great football, but can often manage to make it hard for themselves. Under seems the right play. Good luck.

Looks good:

Totti will miss the game due to an ankle injury.

"He is not in the squad because he has a sore ankle from a knock he picked up," Roma coach Luciano Spalletti was quoted as saying on Gazzetta dello Sport's website.

Valencia will be without suspended centre back Roberto Ayala and a host of first team regulars.

Strikers David Villa and Fernando Morientes, midfielders Mario Regueiro, Edu, Jaime Gavilan, and David Albelda, and defenders Miguel, Carlos Marchena, Emiliano Moretti and Asier del Horno are all carrying injuries.

Ruben Baraja and youth-teamer Miguel Pallardo both missed Saturday's game through illness but are expected to return for the trip to Rome.

Probable teams

Roma: 32-Doni; 2-Christian Panucci, 5-Phillipe Mexes, 13-Cristian Chivu, 22-Max Tonetto; 30-Mancini, 16-Daniele De Rossi, 7-David Pizarro, 20-Simone Perrotta, 11-Rodrigo Taddei; -Vincenzo Montella.

Valencia: 25-Ludovic Butelle; 23-Curro Torres, 17-David Navarro, 20-Raul Albiol, 26-David Cerrajeria; 15-Joaquin, 8-Ruben Baraja, 31-Miguel Pallardo, 10-Miguel Angel Angulo; 12-Francesco Tavano, 21-David Silva.

Referee: Konrad Plautz (Austria)

MA,

I love the Inter Inter Milan Under. What are your thoughts? Based on Milan's style of play, would the first half or full game be a better play?

IS,

Whenever I touch Inter Milan for any kind of Uefa/Champions league play, I end up getting burned. When you expect them to lose, they win, and vice versa. To me they are just too unpredictable, that is why I am staying away. Nonetheless, it would not surprise me if they end up with a
DRAW against Bayern, or an outright win...(currently playing their best soccer in Serie A)
On the totals side: Haven't got a clue. They are capable of a boring 0-0,
or out of nowhere they can score 2-3 goals in a 20 minute span. Bayern
is no slouch, which makes selecting a total even harder.

If I saw a final score here it would be: Inter 1 Bayern 0 (but like I said,
this team has a habit of burning me in International play, so I'll stay away)

Good Luck,

MA

Damn if i had seen everyone was on this I would have bet the over.

those are wise words.

From a Serie A perspective, Roma has been good enough to me. From
a Champions League standpoint, they have already stabbed me big time, twice. If those crimes had not been committed, I would have at least 10 units on this under...

And I hope they don't stab me again...

Best of luck to all
