As some of you many know I like to subscribe to the LGH theory of Handicapping the Line Moves and not the stats. I also find that reading what Chris Schultz of TSN.ca has to say or not say in his write ups is very helpful. In reading the boards this week I have even seen his info cut in pasted into other poster write ups too funny.
As well as reading his write ups I like to consider his score predictions and wager against his Spread winner.
Tonight he has Montreal winning 31-21 - But makes no mention of C Brian Chui retiring from the Al's just before training camp. Instead he focused on the Turnover of the Rush ends from Sask and indeed Sask did turn over a large amount of players, but this is the CFL and I just can't back Montreal winning by 10 or even 3 for that matter to home team that has given AC problems over the past.
There are some books offering the Al's at -3.5 currently I think that is too many points.
SASK +3 3*
small teaser
SASK +9 Over 47 1*
The Stampeeders have lost 3 starting Oline men, 3 starting Receivers and their Offensive Co-ordinator. The Stamps also jetisoned kicker Sandro DeAngelis, a proven veteran for them over the years. The total on this game is dropping like a rock, I think it will surely be a disappointing game after the opening act in Sask.
Schultzie has CGY winning 29-17 and he may have this game right low scoring and an Argo cover, hey he does win some games.
TOR +13.5 1*
GL powerz
I do have opinions on the other games will be back tomorrow with write ups.
