Really fun week last week cashing teaser all over the place. Upon looking back at the games I think 3 out of the 4 games teased either way on the totals would have cashed and the 4th was off by a point and I cashed it b/c I bought it to 7.
So I am not really as hot as I think I am - LOL
Okay here we go week 7 starts tomorrow.
I am going to back the lions and heres why.
Lulay was a deer in the headlights in the 4 games he started for the Leos in the those games BC lost all 4 by a combined 13 points. so this team is still competing still trying.
Now it's week 7 and the Leos have lost 5 straight enter Jarious Jackson. The one key thing that JJ will do is stretch the field which will open up the lions running game. I think that BC will employ and old fashion smash mouth game and then throw it down the field everyone once in awhile. This will keep the Sask linebackers honest.
ask any Olineman what they would rather do, run the ball or pass protect, run the ball would be the answer. Wally needs to instill confidence he needs to run the ball and keep durant off the iron.
Now the fun part that nobody is talking about, Sask just played the Al's in a heart breaker. They come all the way back only to fall short after getting the lead, that was a physical game there are definately guys who will be dinged up. They come home for a game against a team they beat up 5 weeks ago, and are going into a bye. This could result in a lackluster performance from Sask.
Perhaps Doug could tell us Sask record going into a bye week in the last 3 seasons since ken miller took over, I am not sure. I know the leos is no good but they usually are not in this situation.
You know who else is going into a bye - Yup you guessed it BC (cgy and ed too), you think the leos wanna go into the bye on a 6 game losing streak. Players knowing it maybe their last game.
Football is funny game bred on emotion - JJ is the captain of this team I think they play their best game of the season on Thursday. They may not win ( i think they can) but I am confident they will cover.
By the way, Schultz has the Rough riders by 14
