I love football,, whether its college.. NFL or CFL,,, I can watch it all...Can't wait for September when all 3 leagues are on the go... CFL you tend to get a little more passing wide open style cause of the 3 downs and bigger playing field,, thats about the only difference..

I can't disagree more. I grew up loving the CFL. When a friend of mine actually got me to sit and watch and NFL game I could not believe the difference. In the NFL guys get hammered to the ground with bone crushing hits. There are very few missed tackles. The CFL is a joke, guys can't tackle and the hits are few and far between. Can't watch the CFL anymore. I go to one or two games a year to support the local community team (Blue Bombers) but its the activity in the stand and around the field that keeps you interested. The on field product is just boring.

You guys need to get into Arena Football. That gives you football every weekend of the year with the exception of the week between the Arenabowl and the start of CFL.

Activity in the stands is what you're looking for Stickie? Lol... just go to an Arena League game... if I can find the quote again, I'll put it up here for you, but John Kaleo (former long time Tampa QB, current LA QB) said in reference to a game in Orlando something along the lines of "you'll never see more boobs in the stands as you will in the Jungle"

And a lot of AFL arenas are like that, particularly the ones that have been around a long time. Party in the stands. Crappy produce of football on the field... though I must admit that it's going in the wrong direction in terms of quality of players on the field, and that's due to a lot of factors, like the CFL's growing popularity, the NFL's growth in usage of NFL Europe, and several other minor leagues sprouting up around the country... Hell, the af2 is hurting the talent level in the AFL because guys from these small cities are playing in their smaller cities instead of where the AFL teams are close by.

Stickie , I love the NFL more then any league out there,, (yes even the NHL),, but these CFL games are still pretty entertaining to watch.. It goes without saying that the talent level is not there with the NFL but there's some pretty damn good players out there, and 3 downs makes for some exciting football with all the passing.. I used to be strictly an NFL fan until I moved to Saskatchewan,, started going to some Rider games at Taylor field and became hooked instantly.. Now I'm a junkie and pretty much watch every game thats on the tube... At the very least it fills the void nicely until NFL comes around
