Clayton is staunchly in the camp of those who believe Palmer's late-season woes can be laid squarely at the feet of his supporting cast. In other words, he's giving Palmer a pass for his loss of accuracy and arm strength. It sounds like months of rest did him well in both departments, but we're reserving judgment until the pads go on in camp.
