The Hurricanes snapped their modest two-game losing streak on Tuesday night with a 5-3 win over the Jets while the Leafs are hoping to put the brakes on their current two-game skid after a 4-3 loss to Buffalo and a 2-1 shootout loss to the Avalanche.
The Leafs have won the last three meetings between these clubs including a 3-1 victory in their only meeting this season back in November. Although Carolina has been a road warrior this season, sporting a 20-6-6 mark away from home, Toronto has been even better when playing in front of the fan-friendlies as evidenced by a 24-7-5 record at Scotiabank Arena.
It’s not often we can get the Leafs at odds this low at home and we will take advantage of the opportunity and watch Toronto get back on track on Friday night.
