The Panthers are asking for zoning that would allow them to have bars open past 2 a.m. and casino and gaming establishments, which are banned under state law.
Panthers COO Mark Hart said they want to proactive in case things change.
“Sports betting and gaming is a rapidly evolving arena,” Hart said. "We are going to study it."

Not sure when law changed about bars,but I went to many bars after bars closed in Charlotte at 2 and stayed in Rock Hill until 6 or later in the morning....
