I don't follow hockey much since 1997, this year is by far the most in 26 years at it's still not a lot, but it seems the Panthers are on the right side of a bunch of fortuitous finishes. Last second goals and OT wins and horrible turnovers by the opposition

Has it happened before? Is it talent or coaching or systemic or luck or God's will or some combination thereof? IDK, but they're moving on

Since you guys beat the Bruins I'm rooting for you to skate the ice Cup raised high.

Talked to a ton of Bruin fans at Game 4, they said they didn't want to face Florida of all teams cause of the matchups. I said well no need to worry now, you only need 1 more win. The next thing you know, this happens. I am truly stunned, but obviously happy.

Mad respect for the Bruins and their fans. This loss will help them mentally for next year playoffs.....assuming the personnel stuff falls into place.

My summary of fans so far for Panther opponents:

Bruins - refs suck, our player X sucks (mostly heard Clifton's name here), but hats off to the Panthers.
Canes - refs really suck, we suck cause we couldn't score, but hats off to the Panthers (and it was a close series, which is true).
Leafs - refs suck, our player X sucks (mostly Marner here), but Florida is a bad team and Florida doesn't deserve hockey.
