Don don't take this wrong I just thought it was kind of funny. I always thought of you as my northern friends, I didn't realize Canadians were a seperate race as well.

no, it is not a race, but it is a nationality.

i had three choices here.

1. call elmer and all americans < american chickenshit > every time i come here, or,
2. accept the moderators' point of view that it is not bad to call all canadians chickenshit, day after day.
3.leave the rubber room, and give elmer all the space his need for his stupidity.

i decided to leave the rubber room.

Don, you have another choice, Ignore the dipshit. By the way if you want to cut down Elmer or the US go ahead, I think it is moving down to ELmer's level but you won't hurt my feelings. Don't let an idiot like Elmer change what you want to do.

It is of course interesting what/who is "fair game" and what is not.

I got into into on a horse board when one of the U.S. boys said "all Canadians were good for was to shoo flies off of fish".

I retaliated by saying the only thing we hired Americans for up here was doorstops, they were so poorly educated that is all they were good for.

All hell broke loose.

I didn't care, I felt turnabout is fair play. In Elmer's case, he is obviously severely challenged, I don't feel insulted at all.

But everyone is different. I got an apology for the fish thing, the guy said he felt Canadians were strong enough to be able to be made fun of. Obviously, I disagreed....

Why do you disagree? If you as individual are insulted by a comment made by a poster that you know is not true, why should you be bothered by it? There is not a thing in the world you could call me that would hurt me, unless there is some truth to it.
