Canadian Football League - Week 5

WEEK 1: 2-0-0 (+4.0 UNITS)
WEEK 2: 3-0-0 (+6.0 UNITS)
WEEK 3: 1-2-1 (-2.4 UNITS)
WEEK 4: 3-1-0 (+3.8 UNITS)
2005 SEASON TOTAL: 9-3-1 (+11.4 UNITS)

EDMONTON (-5.5) -104 over Ottawa (208/200) Pinnacle
Ottawa has had only 4 days to prepare for this game which is absolutely ridiculous. The CFL schedule makers should be shot and I think the Renegades would agree with me. Edmonton played poorly against Winnipeg last week but squeaked out a 14-12 win. You can bet the Eskimos have done their homework this week and will DEFINITELY be the better prepared team tonight.

MONTREAL (-11) +101 over Winnipeg (200/202) Pinnacle
Montreal is coming off of the bye week and should chomping at the bit to get back on the field. The Allouette secondary is going to give Tee Martin fits with their speed and athleticism and I expect more than a couple of turn-overs to go Montreal's way. Montreal should win this one big at home.

B.C. Lions (-9) vs. Hamilton
4-0 vs. 0-3 on the winless team's turf. These kind of games are SCAREY so this is a definite NO PLAY!

CALGARY (+4.5) -110 over Saskatchewan (220/200) Pinnacle
These two teams always play each other tough. This game could go either way but I don't think either team can win by more than 3 points. Burris would dearly love to beat his old team in front of the hometown fans in Calgary and I somehow think that Saskatchewan will accomodate him as they are ready for a letdown.

Good Luck

CHECK THAT...Winnipeg is the home team in the game against Montreal. Regardless of location, Montreal will ROLL over Winnipeg.

That's a great record, congrats, MM! Were you this good in past seasons? Is CFL easier to cap than NFL/NCAA?

Thanks madclown. I typically hit about 55% to 60% of my CFL plays over the course of a season. The last couple of years have been the same with NFL. I don't cap NCAA football.

This year's CFL has been quite good. If I can maintain anywhere close to 70% I will consider this a GREAT season.
