Can you answer this shit #2

You are standing outside a room with no windows...it has one door (which is opaque and closed). On the wall outside the room there are three light switches...inside there are three lightbulbs...

Here is the riddle...you can only enter the room once and upon entering the room you can no longer touch the switches....how can you figure out which light switch controls which light bulb?

I'd turn switch #1 on for a minute or two until i was sure the bulb it controlled was hot, then turn it off and turn on switch #2 and walk in the room right away.
The bulb that is on is controlled by switch #2, the bulb that is hot is controlled by switch #1 and the bulb that is cold is controlled by switch #3.
