I am lost and do not want to do a lot of reading in posts around the site. What happened?

The shrink offered to let them use his credit accounts. They both racked up over 6k in debt. Ken cut them off and wanted paid. Dsethi claimed it was all skins debt though they both made wagers from that account. Skins says he is broke and cant pay until he starts his new job. (Dsethi supposedly has a job and money but doesnt want to take responsibility)

Months have passed and only $200 has been paid on this debt. They both pretty much stopped posting so the Shrink exposed them knowing his chance of collecting were slim to none.

Skins got in a hole because of credit and is digging himself out of it. Nothing more to it.

So does not posting mean that you're a stiff? Not what you said 6 months ago.

Well if you want to get technical, Dsethi is the stiff and Skins is the very slow payer and not yet stiff.

WVU,

seriously....what I don't understand is how incidents like this one and the Mofome one (which I agree with your POV on both situations) you seem to understand but you seem to feel no guilt from the situation that you were in. Equally as worthy of bashing if you ask me.

I won my bet. If I had lost I would have dealt with it. The plan was in place either way. I did not owe Lapdance shit. He ignored my requests for a buyout which is why you do not see him crying about it. You guys can fill in the details however you want which is what happened. Lapdance knows he would have gotten paid and that is the only person that matters. I knew I would get paid and I did.

I am the only person in forum history who has been crucified on a winning wager. Was the wager a bit over my head? Yes. I do not normally bet more than $300 or so unless I have both sides. He called me out when I gave him 14-1 odds and I sucked it up and took the bet. I was never comfortable with it, but I took the bet out of pride and discontent towards Lapdance who had a history of giving me a hard time. The bet won. END OF STORY.

He would have had all 14 grand in his hands within 48 hours. Some of the drama was an orchestrated act. I was leaving this forum and it was agreed that the drama would drive traffic across the way which it did. I really don't owe you or anyone else any explanation, but you have only been a little bit of a dick to me over this compared to others.

thanks for the explanation....fwiw, I paid you promptly when I lost a bet with you...

...if the whole thing was really orchestrated, then that speaks very poorly of EOG management if you ask me. If lapdance was in on it (sounds like what you are implying), then EOG is a much bigger dick than you are....

Yes you did and I was kind enought to explain to you before and after the bet that you were taking a bad bet. I think we both had fun with it though. BTW Choptalk tried to freeroll another shot at that poker challenge. He got about 30 games into it and was losing at a terrible rate and refused to pay up. Such is life

lap was not in on it.

I'm not in the mood to go searching for an ancient thread and looking through 80 pages but didn't lapdance deserve some kind of heads up that he would be paid?

(you mentioned he knew and you offered a buyout but I swear I remember reading that you didn't respond to any emails and you didn't contact him in any way)

you have it backwards. I attempted to contact him with the intent of offering a buyout. He never responded. I even asked someone to have him contact me. He did not email me or contact me at all. I later learned he was not interested in a buyout, but he didnt care enough to let me know.

This guy needs to quit before he finds Lap hopping the fence while he scrambles to get his security (daughter) to man the door
