Really excited about getting the season started. November to February seems to take forever.
Not going heavy on anything today because I'm always thinking about the "big one" in plate races that can ruin your day. But I do like some match-ups.

1.00 unit Kevin Harvick(-110) over Kyle Busch (@thegreek.com)
Going with past history here (as with all my other plays today). Can't deny Harvick's success at Daytona in Busch(now Nationwide, ugh). Has not finished outside the Top 5 in three years(six races).
Kyle runs well here, but with the exception of his win last July, always seems to screw up one way or another(his other five finishes since 2005: 37th, 16th, 25th, 27th, 32nd)
1.00 unit Clint Bowyer(-115) over Denny Hamlin (@bodog)
Bowyer's last six Busch results @Daytona- 5th, 4th, 6th, 3rd, 5th, and 12th. Not bad, and RCR seems to be putting a lot of emphasis on this team this year.
Plate races have not been all that great for Hamlin but he is improving.
Another factor is he is driving for Braun not Gibbs.
1.00 unit Martin Truex Jr.(-115) over Matt Kenseth (@thegreek.com)
Once again the trend. Truex has ran four races since 2005 his worst finish...8th and he had a win in '05.
1.00 unit Brian Vickers(+115) over Kasey Kahne (@thegreek.com)
This one is more of a gut feeling. Vickers has done well here, 13th and 2nd last two starts but he has been inconsistent and a little reckless his whole career but you can say the same thing about Kasey. I'll side with Vickers here.

0.25 unit Clint Bowyer (+965) @thegreek.com
Not a bad price for someone who does very well here. Not to mention he was 2nd and 11th in the two practices and qualified 2nd. That tells me he is good in the draft as well as by himself.
