Okay well i just came across an add on for excel while just browsing the web the other night. What I found was a neural network software add on for excel. It is called PredictorXL. On the web site it gives examples to predict horse and dog races. It even gave an example to predict the stock market for the next day.
I was wondering if we put our heads together we can come up with parameters to predict the out come for football, basketball and baseball. i have searched around to see if i could find any examples or even any spreadsheets on this and I cant seem to find any examples or anything on line. I have also spoken to the live help on the site, and they told me that there are no examples for team sport predictions and that i would have to come up with my own parameters for the prediction. The didnt tell me that the software couldnt make the predictions. He just told me that it is possible but it would be trial and error.
So that is where im at, trying to get some help or even make a team to come up with something that this tool can give us an edge. Any takers to help with this?
