Because its stupid to bring up these threads everyday. If they somehow pass and you still want to gamble, you still will.

I love this answer. It is just so ignorant.

Let me ask you something - how much do you bet?

If your answer is thousands and you move money around through neteller, THEN YOU SHOULD BE CONCERNED. So for you, it may mean nothing if you bet 10 bucks a game.

But to those that do this a little more seriously this is a big deal. This threatens our livelihood. So while it may not effect you and you will "still find a way to gamble" - there are many that it will effect and will put out of business.

Threaten what livelihood. You can quit gambling then if you think it will threat your livelihood. It's not a necessity.

DR03 - what do you do for a living?

If you answer doctor, lawyer, janitor, or teacher - and I suddenly told you that for no apparent reason it was AGAINST THE LAW to be your chosen profession - would you consider that threatening your livelihood? At that point, would you feel it is a necessity?

Dont you get it?

WRONG AGAIN.

It is NOT ILLEGAL to gamble on the internet. Seriously, why dont you try doing an ounce of research before you talk out of line:

http://www.onlinegamblingmythsandfacts.com/index.htm

Myth: It is illegal to place a bet in the United States.
Fact: This is not true in the majority of states. There is no federal law which criminalizes the placement of a bet by a bettor. This holds true in the majority of states; although there are some states which do criminalize betting.

And so this is your defense for not doing anything about the pending legislation or asking to stop making these kind of threads? Like you are exasperated by having to read again how the US Govt is going to take away your right to gamble?

Maybe you are on the wrong posting forum pal. People here gamble. And I beleive people here want to protect their rights to do so. Im not sure what your argument is against activism.????

I gamble myself, but I'm not going to have restless nights over a bill that won't be passed. My problem is it's being brought up everyday and just gets tedious over time.

1. It probably will be passed.
2. If you dont like reading these threads, dont go in them.
3. You will be changing your mind in about 6 months when you are a criminal for using neteller (if you can at all) and your bank shuts you down for funding offshore.

But dont call or write your senator or congressman.

GL WITH THAT!!

1. The bills been brought up a bunch of times and hasn't been passed. Even if this does pass, it has to go through other courts to be decided. Gambling won't be banned tomorrow, it might not even be discussed tomorrow.
2. I go in them and post because I'm tired of seeing them pop all over the forums.
3. If gambling was my life and I couldn't gamble here, then I would move to a different country where it's not illegal, but gambling isn't my life and I can stop if it can get me in legal trouble. Your making a mountain out of a mole hill.

1. The bill is on track to pass this time. If you havent read about Abromovich and Delay please do so. Gambling will not be banned tomorrow because it is in front of a subcomittee - but it could be banned in as little as 3 months. AND IT IS PROBABLY GOING TO PASS.

2. My advice would be to just stay out - you have shown that you do not have the same interest in this as others.

3. If I told you that for no reason you couldnt be a teacher tomorrow because it was illegal - would you move to another country? And at that point would someone saying to you "you are making a mountain out of a mole hill" as an asshole? I DO THIS FOR A LIVING. I pay taxes. I am a US Citizen. Why should I move to another country or be forced in any way to compromise my chosen profession?

You are a real piece of work. It doesnt effect you bad enough so nobody should talk about it. Quit cluttering your forum. Jeesh.

I respect your opinion but your going way off the deep end. Gambling won't be banned, I'm almost 100 percent sure. But, if you think so strongly it'll be passed and it's your career, then you may want to consider going back to school, learning a trade, or moving to a different country because the congressman usually don't listen to what people say. That's just my recommendation, but I don't see the bill passing anyways.

Wow. Its people like you who make this country great. lol.

FYI - I have an MBA from Princeton and I AM A FUCKING AMERICAN. Im dont need to go to trade school or move to another country. THANKS FOR THE ADVICE.

Amazing. Just sit back and dont do anything. Dont start a thread on a website. Dont call your congressman. Blindly speculate on whether or not a bill will pass. And then when it does - move to another country.

Fucking unreal.

Yea, I just like pointing out that this guy is a fraud and won't be back. He couldn't even do the research to figure out Princeton doesn't grant MBA's. Don't pay attention to him and his rants about the last days of gambling.
