The spread might seem high, but consider just how bad California is. While losing to Oregon might not seem alarming, Cal lost that game by 29 points at home. That was three games ago. After the Duck game, Cal lost by 20 at home to Oregon State and by 29 at Stanford. Not only do the Golden Bears lack efficiency on offense, but they also don't stop anyone on defense, either. Colorado defends extremely well and is capable of exceeding 70 points. The consistently productive interior play of forward Tristan da Silva will help Colorado score more than it needs, to cover the spread.
