Lost $100 on posted plays Friday which puts us at +$200 through 3 days of posting this meet. I will continue posting the early races about 3 times a week and see how we do.
Race 1
The heavy favorite will most likely be HONORABLE WORLD but she has shown a tendency to weaken against this level in the past. I will look elswhere for value with CLOUDY GRAY, who drops down to her lowest level yet.
The bet: $20 W #3 $10 ex box 1-3
Race 2
SEMI BROKE showed flashes of talent last winter here at Calder and although I rarely back 10 time maidens, she looks to fit against these for what figures to be 6-1 or better.

Race 3
Steady work tab and the big drop in class tell me BULLISH is well-meant for this one. I also look for FLIP'S BUDDY BERT to try and make the lead from the rail and he has the ability to hold on at the wire.
The bet: $20 WP #5 $5 ex box 1-5
Race 4
The switch to Castro today should be all that VALID DANCER needs to claim victory. The son of Valid Wager will get plenty of pace to close into and will be flying late.

Race 5
The double drop for LISA RAE frightens me enough to lay off. Perhaps VELVETRY will respond to the route to sprint move and steal the lead for the bug boy. The price will be right.

I think I've mentoined the Hal Schultz with first timers angle in here before - he's got two in this race - but I am off him today as I'm in love with CASH SETTLEMENT and will cross my fingers for a good price.
