I haven't seen the changes yet and this is assuming a fast surface.
Race 1
STACKER will be bet hard due to the drop and his strong run at a mile on 6/24. That run, however, was on a sloppy surface and he was plodding late which has been his tendency. The horse that wins this will come from off the pace and, although STRETCH OUT FRONT is likely to be the pace beneficiary, the price will be too short for a horse that hasn't beyered above 75 all year. The value will probably be on NOADIAH - another who doesn't need to be on the lead and may yet be able to improve. I'm going to play the 3.
Race 2
I've always liked Rodolfo Garcia with babies and so must give PASHABELLE a look, but will center on WRITE THE CHECK - only a maiden still due to some bad racing luck thus far. BEST AND PROUD might also be ready for a big effort off the freshening.
Race 3
ENGLISH HARBOR will not get an easy lead. SUAVE GENTLEMAN is going to be the fly in the ointment - I mean, you've got an inept trainer and a marginal jock on a colt trying to go long for the first time. He'll go too fast, right? This will take the 1 right out of his game. So where do we go when we've eliminated the odds on favorite? MASTER IS READY might be in a bit over his head, but the race sets up for him nicely. 2 for 2 at a mile doesn't hurt.

FRIENDLY THERESA has bounce tattoed all over her. CRAFTY DIVA had a nice 48.1 last week to show me she just needed her first off the bench to work out the kinks. She should be able to handle these with Manny up.
Race 5
Four straight place finishes for DAD'S LOVE. I hate backing horses like this, but today just might be the day as she's going to see many of these burn each other out.
Race 6
STARSHIP COWBOY should relish the added distance and any improvement at all will put him right in the drivers seat. I also liked how GHETTO finished in his last - both of these will be in my exotics.
Race 7
My pick of the day is SNAPPY TALE. This filly has ability, just hasn't been handled well. The lone turf try was so bad that it will help keep the odds in our favor but there were excuses in that one. She had to steady twice early and, let's face it, she was in way over her head for a first turf try. She's got the breeding, loses the blinks, and lands the hot bug.
