Shuttle for me, back in the day I used to rent a car, forget about that these days, the Blvd is just to congested.
Cab will cost you double the cost of the shuttle, for what?, to save 7 minutes?

I tried the shuttle once. It took 45 minutes to get to Flamingo and for the return trip the shuttle never showed up. Now I always rent a car. From the time the door on my flight opens till the time I'm sitting in my car takes 20 mins. If I didn't rent a car I would use a cab

If you're worried about what the cab ride costs then maybe you shouldn't be going to Vegas. It always amazes me how many tightwads there are on this site. ^<<^ Taking the shuttle.....ROLFLMFAO. @)

Max, I've been to Vegas a gazillion times.
I got tired of taking cabs, because 1/2 of the cabbies are rip off artists, and the other half stink to the high heavens.
Not because I'm a tightwad.

It's just that waiting on a shuttle to save less money than what a drink costs is poor 'time management' to me. Tell the cabbie to take Paradise when you get in the cab. If it's busy at McCarron and there's a long line at the cabbie stand I'll just rent a limo instead of waiting an hour. It's time efficient and the fee is set. Vegas is the greatest town ever if you have money and if you don't then you shouldn't go, IMO.

If you are too worried about how much you are spending in Vegas, you won't have fun anyway...

renting cars is dirt cheap in vegas, I will rent one every time I go, especially since I usually stay off strip.

Of course If I drink I may need to take a cab or two while I am there, but other than that it is very useful to have the car.

last time I was there I paid $10 a day.
