These are my choices and without over analyzing I have one strong choice and 2 secondary selections:
Liverpool at MARSEILLE OVER 2½ (+134) 1 UNIT
Rafa always uses a lone striker in their away games so far. But this time Rafa plans to use a 4-4-2 formation (from what I have read) which means two strikers and having the wings make long balls while placing extra pressure in the penalty area.
Although Liverpool have a bad record when playing against French teams, the Liverpool players know this, and I'm sure they will show up today with a good performance. History has told us that the Reds show up for big CL games and this is a big one. Liverpool should win this one 2-1.
Besiktas at PORTO Draw (+310) 0.5 UNIT
This is a very tough game to predict which side will win. As a result, I've determined that this is an even split and therefore a good draw opportunity. I predict a 1-1 draw with Porto qualifying.
Lazio at REAL MADRID Lazio +1½ (-116) 0.5 UNIT
I fully expect Real Madrid to win this game. However, Madrid will likely sputter in the first half and be down 1-0. I forcast a 2-1 victory for Madrid but not after some first half trouble.
