Bird is by far better shooter. Whoever said LB is a better passer than LBJ, disagree. LBJ is every bit the passer Bird was.

This is a tough call for me.

Everyone talks about Russell and his Championships. Well, There were only 9 teams in the NBA until 1966. Dream played against David Robinson, Shaq, Patrick Ewing. Played against Kareem for about 4 or 5 years. Dream is not a self-promoter and doesn't get enough credit as an all-time great center. He has the athleticism, moves, shooting touch, defensive skill-set and played with fewest number of HOF players, unlike Wilt, Kareem and Russell.

Best center I've ever seen play. He embarrassed Shaq in the Finals. Conventional logic says Wilt or Russell for greatest of all time. Off the top of my head Willis Reed and Walt Bellamy are the only other notable centers of the time.

Now people are moving the goal post on me. I never said shaq was better then Hakeem. As a matter of fact I said the opposite. Athletic and best are not the same thing.

Shawn Kemp is the most athletic power forward I have ever seen but he was not one of the top 20 power forwards ever. Could not even touch Malone or Duncan but he was the most athletic. I would say Blake griffin is the 2nd most athletic pf but he is not in my top 10 Pfs of alltime either yet.

I don't see why people don't take Kareem at center every time. All-time leading scorer in league history because he had an unstoppable move, the sky-hook. Great rebounder, defender, passer. Multiple championships.

Better shooter, better passer, better leader (can't be tangibly measured but c'mon). Could argue rebounding by the numbers but I'd say a wash.

The main difference is LeBron is way better defensively than Bird. People like to relegate defense to the end of a sentence even though it is 1/2 the game.

Hell, I am one of the quickest people on here to acknowledge when wrong or mistaken. Hakeem was soccer player to begin with. You are the only person I have ever heard say Shaq was a better athlete than Hakeem. Do you realize how agile he was for a 7 footer?
