Wrong again Brazil nut...the appeasment of Chamberlin boosted Hitler...along with the appeasment of one ammbassodor to England,Joseph P. Kennedy.who was against US involment in Europe...Remember it was the Germans who declared war on the US not the US on them..and this occured after the Democrat liberal FDR let pearl harbor happen.
Joe Kennedys political career was ruined after this.

It is wrong to argue that Hitler and Stalin were ever popular within Europe and liberal US, thats all my point was. Even Churchill, who would have beeen considered conservative said that being allied with Stalin was like making a pact with the devil (not in those words). Even if Hitler's popularity was boosted once in a while, most Europeans dispised him and appeased him because they didnt want to go through what happened in WWI (wrongly).
