President Bush has nominated former senator John Danforth as the new U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. Given Danforth's eighteen-month investigation into the Waco massacre which essentially concluded that the ATF did no wrong (in the face of glaring evidence to the contrary) one must wonder precisely which skill of Danforth's earned him this nod from an incompetent president who could use all the cover-up specialists he can get on his side.
