What in the **** are you talking about?

All 50 states bankrupt? Criminals? WTF?

I guess I should thank you for showing the true mindset of a liberal.

Which is -
Nothing I think makes any sense, so I'll just make stuff up, pretend it's a fact and proceed to attack anyone who says different.

And what is it that your propose with THIS post? Is it NOT to "attack anyone who says different"?

How quick we are to name the enemy as ourself.

First president in US history to order a US attack and military occupation of a sovereign nation;

Name another president that has done THIS?

But mind rfc, I am not a fan of G.W.B. but I think he did the right thing. Unfortunately innocents have and will be killed, but this is the tribute that any military action takes with itself.

Where exactly do you think we got California, Arizona and Texas from?

Do you think the Mexicans gave those lands to us?

Not mention, many people in the South felt the Confederacy was a sovern nation, before it was invaded and occupied.

Bush is one of the 5 best US presidents already.

If you want to disagree you should at least be honest and intelligent enough to separate things which have happened while ( and actually before) he was president which he had no control over and things which he has done which you believe were harmful. Your post is sour grapes, nothing more. You want him to fall on his face and instead he leads admirably in a difficult time.

We actually have a president who does his job- leads, even when its not politically popular, he does what is right. Go cry somewhere else.

I agree with your point here Mr. Smith, inasmuch as some of the items listed above are problems which have nothing to do with the coincidence of who is sitting in the Big Fancy Chair (tm) in the Oval Office. At least my criticisms of Bush are rational and based in stuff he personall does, and advocates doing.

On this point:

Bush is one of the 5 best US presidents already.

I'm guessing Lincoln, Wilson, and FDR ... can't think of the fourth one. Am I right on those? And who is the other?

Now that's some funny shit. First off, you blame America first on every issue. Next, lets set the record straight, the Sudanese offered OBL on a silver platter THREE times and clintoon kept his head in the sand. Then clintton allows the first WTC bombing, the kobar tower bombings, the africa bombings and the USS Cole bombing and did NOTHING.
Which set the stage for 9/11.

The corruption of US companies cooking the books expanded during clintoons watch and fell apart the last year of clintoons admin, not much Bush could do about that.

Clintoon cooked all the books and now the stock market has retreated from the scams allowed by the clintoons, not Bush.

The one thing I do agree with you is the out of control government spending. 15 BILLION to Africa to fight Aids. I don't care how much money you throw at Africa it's not going to change anything until they change their behaivor.
Most of the money will be stolen by the likes of Koffi Annan. It will not get to the people.

I hope that presidents in the future learn the lesson from the Clinton administration- when the economy is rocking and rolling ( And the president really has very little impact on the economy, democrats now rail at Bush for the lousy economy and laud Clinton but remember when Carter was president- terrible economy Reagan takes over, great economy. The economy goes in cycles. A president has influence on it, but not a lot. ) its not acceptable to sit on your ass and do nothing other than eat krispy kremes and big macs and bang your interns. The office of president of the united states is for leaders who will do what they believe in, even if its unpopular and may cost them the second election.

I am a registered democrat, but they disgust me now all the whining and cowardice they show. I think Bush has done an excellent job. I certainly would not have wanted his job during these times, it has been far from easy and he has handled tough issues well.

I agree that Bush has had to clean up the mess of Clintons inactivity. While Clinton acted inappropriately and ignored threats, our enemies viewed us with utter contempt, leading to 9-11.

I hope Bush gets re-elected. A lot of people dislike Bush, if you don't like his politics or leadership, you can vote for someone else. I admire that he leads, he takes his position and acts. I don't always agree with him, there are some major things I don't like that he does, but I agree with a lot of his policies and appreciate he is an honest man thrust into difficult times and he has acquitted himself admirably.

RFC,
The last time that I took a shit, I don't think I got my ass clean enough. Did Bush preside over that too? Cause and effect????
I think I have a pretty good understanding of the forces that affect our economy, but I would feel so much more enlightened if you could explain to me just what actions Bush has taken that have resulted in the loss of 2 million jobs and record bankrupty filings.
Here's a couple of real-life examples of the forces that cost jobs and skyrocket bankruptcies. In my part of the country, telecommunication work was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Workers with little or no experience or skills were given $20/hour jobs. These people financed new homes, cars, etc. But of course these jobs were too good to be true (paying wages much higer than natural market forces would dictate) and now these jobs are virtually nonexistent. Now you've got a bunch of unemployed people who learned to live beyond their means in a hurry who have no way out but bankruptcy. I think a lot of people wanted to give Clinton and the Democrats credit for these apparently good jobs, but now that the forces of the economy (supply & demand) have balanced, it must be because a republican is in office.
And what about credit card debt? People can't possibly continue to borrow money at a rate faster than they can pay it back. It's beginning to catch up with a lot of people. A person earning $30,000/year can easily get $75 to $100K line of credit from different sources, but there's no way he can pay it off. It's amazing just how many people will go ahead and run up a ridiculous amount of credit card debt before they realize there is no way they can pay it off.
These are just a couple of small examples of small-scale situations affectin our economy. The president can't just wave a magic wand to create or take away jobs. SHORT-TERM "FIXES" IN THE ECONOMY CREATE FOOL'S GOLD BECAUSE THEY BYPASS THE LAWS OF SUPPLY AND DEMAND. And these forces are what dictates the direction of our economy, not government policy.

I repeat, for the xth time, I do not care about Clinton. He did his time and ruined certain things, ****ed up here, ****ed up there...

But its the devil in the white house that concerns me now.

Tubby, If your ass isn't clean, that is a personal hygiene problem and has little to death with bush (except that your ass and his business dealings are BOTH dirty!)
