Doesn't matter how long you have leased the land... when they say its time to go... its time to go.

Simple as that... no whining or bitching and moaning. Its not yours, you only had the "privilege" to use the land, no HAVE the land.

Doesn't matter if the state of Nevada wants to use it as a turd farm, or to cook the worlds largest pancake... its theirs to do as they please.

The days of the US citizens bearing arms to defend itself against the government are over, I would rather the gun nuts come up with a better excuse for assault rifles than to protect itself from the government. People need to come to the realization that if they fucked with the government with assault rifles, hell I will thrown in a tank, rocket launcher, grenades and a bazooka, they LOSE, MASSACRED. I guess normal people don't feel they need a weapon to defend itself from the government because normal people know they would get slaughtered. I would rather people's rationale for assault rifles would be for protection from criminals but that's just me.

This is a laughable, cartoonish view of the issue.

Of course history is replete with examples of sheer numbers or tactical advantages overcoming superior firepower - including the 'Black Hawk Down' incident where a bunch of illiterate Africans with AK-47's and rocket launchers defeated the best of the best the US [28,000 U.S. forces locally available] (1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta, Navy Seals, and CVN-72 USS Abraham Lincoln & Carrier Air Wing 11 and the 10th Mountain Division) could throw at them - so I see posts such as this and just laugh.

This guy and AK must be distant relatives.

Clark County Commissioner Tom Collins has caused outrage by remarking that Utahns planning to travel to Nevada to support Cliven Bundy in his standoff against the feds “better have funeral plans”.

The comments were revealed by Darin Bushman, a Piute County, Utah, commissioner after he spoke with Collins about Utah ranchers and his colleagues on the County Commission complaining about tactics used by Bureau of Land Management agents during their seizure of Bundy’s cattle in southern Nevada.

“I was just told by commissioner Collins of Clark County NV that all of us folks from Utah are a bunch of “inbred bastards” and if we are coming to Clark Cointy NV to support Cliven Bundy we all “better have funeral plans”. We should “turn our asses around on mind our own f-ing business”. Now there’s some classy leadership for you,” wrote Bushman on his official Facebook page.

Oh, guess who owes the federal government more money, this rancher or the 36 of Obama’s aides oweing a total of $833,970 in back taxes + Charlie Rangel + the new head of the North Carolina Democratic Party?

Maybe we can get the IRS to round up Obama's aides at gun point and enforce their tax delinquency?

No can do. I will continue to point out what an incompetent person Obama is till he’s out of office and probably beyond.

The only saving grace is one corrupt man and one corrupt administration can’t bring down the United States no matter how hard they try and god knows they’ve tried awfully hard.

My favorite is how they are now complaining that it's Harry Reid's association with the Chinese and wanting to build a $5 billion plant there. I thought Repubs were all about jobs? Didn't we hear them bitching and complaining about the Keystone pipeline that would be going under, through, and over peoples properties for the past 5 years because of how many "jobs" it would create.

Whatever their masters tell them I guess.

Are you that fucking retarded? Nevermind, a rhetorical question.

Fuck you pussy.

MUST SEE: Citizens Rise Up – The Real Nevada Story the Media Won’t Show You (Video)

Nevada Standoff: April 12th – A historic day when the people rose up and forced tyrants to retreat.
topClip-logo.gif

by Gina Cassini | Top Right News

The media’s version of the end of the Bundy Ranch siege is that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) simply “left” the ranch and “returned” the cattle out of the goodness of their hearts. CBS News even outrageously reported that the BLM “released the cattle to help restore order and avoid violence“! This despite widely-seen video of BLM thugs tasing Bundy’s son and shoving a pregnant woman to the ground. And the protesters never threatened violence in any way during the nearly one-week siege.

The real story was that the BLM refused to give back the cattle, and would not leave the property or disarm, to which they had agreed. The result was an epic standoff that reporter David Knight described as being like “something out of a movie.”

Supporters of Bundy advanced on a position held by BLM agents despite threats that they would be shot at, eventually forcing BLM feds to release 100 cattle that had been stolen from Bundy as part of a land grab dispute that threatened to escalate into a Waco-style confrontation.

Land grab from who??

Who owns that land that the Bundy cattle was on?

Can the state of Nevada and those in charge of the land do as they please with Nevada State/Federal land?

Like I said, I don't like what they are doing, and Reid is the biggest crook out there... but what they are doing is legal.

The new head of the BLM, Neil Kornze, worked for Harry Reid as a policy adviser from 2003 to 2011. It is reasonable to assume that Reid got him the BLM job, and I would hazard a guess that Reid saw the situation turning into a public relations disaster–-Nevada’s Governor and Senator Dean Heller, both Republicans, were more or less siding with Bundy–-and told Kornze to give it up."

Even without this Reid connection the hypocracy lies in the fact that we let Mexicans walk the border and talk about amnesty yet here is a family who has worked this land for over a century and has paid the state but not the federal gov't. They should be grand fathered in for God's sake. Yet this administration would give all the illegals in this country a blank slate. Illegal is illegal, duh. Reid's connection shows how corrupt he is and shows him for the hypocrite that he is. Of course the lame stream will give him a pass as usual.

I read the LV Review Journal this morning. 3 articles about Bundy. 0 about Reid.

You are spot on.

Can you believe this silly, lying, amnesty supporting piece of crap?

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is weighing in on a high-profile dispute between a Nevada cattle rancher and the federal Bureau of Land Management.
“Well, it’s not over,” Reid, D-Nev., told KRNV-TV in Reno on Monday. “We can’t have an American people that violate the law and then just walk away from it. So it’s not over.”

In His Own Words: Here’s Why the Nevada Rancher Refuses to Recognize Federal Authority

Apr. 14, 2014 2:06pm Erica Ritz
11.2K

Cliven Bundy, the last remaining rancher in Clark County, Nev., stands at the center of what has become a national controversy over the private use of federal land. He is focused on one big issue, he said in a radio interview with Glenn Beck on Monday: He doesn’t believe the land belongs to the federal government.

“I think this is very clarifying to people,” Beck said. “Your stance is, ‘I do not recognize these lands to be federal … I am staking out my claim that the United States government does not have any jurisdiction, and any rights to the land that [I am] now grazing on.’”

“That’s right,” Bundy said. “It’s Nevada land.”

Embattled Bunkerville rancher Cliven Bundy, left, and his son Dave Bundy talk to a reporter on the corner of North Las Vegas Boulevard and East Stewart Avenue in downtown Las Vegas Monday, April 7, 2014. (AP/Las Vegas ***************, K.M. Cannon)

Bundy said he has “no contract with the United States government,” and the federal government has “no jurisdiction or authority” on his grazing rights, water rights, access rights, ranch improvement rights or anything else that “belongs to ‘we the people’ of Clark County.”

The rancher took his argument back to the 19th century, when Nevada became a state. According to him, the federal government did, in fact, control the land when Nevada was a territory. But, he claimed, when the territory became a state, the government turned that land over to the sovereignty of the state of Nevada, and thus the federal government lacks the power to control it today.

“At the moment of statehood, what happened?” Bundy asked. “At the moment of statehood the people of the territory become people of the United States with the Constitution, with equal footing to the original 13 states. They had boundaries allowing them a state line. And that boundary was divided into 17 subdivisions, which were counties. Which I live in one of those counties, Clark County, Nevada.”

“As a citizen of that county, I abide by all the state laws,” he concluded.

Though he has grazed his cattle on federal land for decades, Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees since 1993. Last week, the conflict sharply escalated after federal agents arrived in an attempt to round up Bundy’s “trespass cattle,” only to be met by protesters.

The story has taken many turns — including whether Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is involved (it appears he isn’t), and whether the confrontation could escalate to a situation like Ruby Ridge in 1992.

On Saturday, Neil Kornze, the director of the U.S. Bureau of Land Management, started returning Bundy’s cattle due to the “serious concern about the safety of employees and members of the public.” Bundy confirmed on Monday the cattle have been returned. But it is unlikely that the controversy will go away quietly, since Bundy is remaining defiant in his position and doesn’t seem eager to pay the decades of grazing fees he still owes.

Beck said “America needs to decide” where it stands on the issue, and he’ll weigh in more on his television program at 5 p.m. ET, and on his radio program Tuesday.

What can real Americans learn from the Bundy Ranch?

Forget the cesspool of politics, just stand up and tell the unconstitutional federal oligarchy to fuck off! :103631605

Hopefully this nut will be put in prison sooner rather than later if he continues to refuse to pay his legally recognized debt.

[h=2]Cliven Bundy is a Big Fat Million Dollar Welfare Dead Beat![/h] by VyanFollow

I mean, if you really look at the facts of the case at the heart of his dispute with the Bureau of Land Management over grazing fees he's refused to pay for the last 20 years - Cliven Bundy has long enjoyed the benefit of Federal Resources without actually meeting the requirements for access to those resources.
The issue has been litigated in court, more than once, and Bundy has lost each time on the merits of his case. He is NOT ENTITLED to access to this land. It doesn't belong to him. In fact that land Belongs to ME and to every other citizen of the United States. That's MY Land that his cows have been grazing on for 20 years and he OWES ME and the rest of the American People for it.
Cliven Bundy is a God Damn [Corporate] Benefits Dead Beat and a THEIF. He's a Moocher! A Lazy Taker!. He should pay the frack up, or else face jail. I mean isn't that how all those good Americans on Fox News like Eric Bolling are constantly telling us about people who Improperly take Federal Benefits! Just listen.

What make Cliven Bundy any different from all the guys who go out and buy Weed, Booze and Lap Dances using an EBT Card? [Never mind the fact that if you can get cash via E.B.T., you can legally spend it on anything you like!] If they should be strung up by the heels for ripping off the American Public, why shouldn't he? I mean, seriously.

And now the Feds, due to the increasing threat of violence involving Militia groups has backed off from their Cattle Roundup, tucked their tails between their legs, packed their bags and headed home.

BUNKERVILLE, Nevada (Reuters) – The U.S. Bureau of Land Management on Saturday said it had called off an effort to round up a rancher’s herd of cattle that it had said were being illegally grazed in southern Nevada, citing concerns about safety. “Based on information about conditions on the ground and in consultation with law enforcement, we have made a decision to conclude the cattle gather because of our serious concern about the safety of employees and members of the public,” BLM director Neil Kornze said in a statement.
The showdown between rancher Cliven Bundy and U.S. land managers had brought a team of armed federal rangers to Nevada to seize the 1,000 head of cattle.
Do you think for one second that if Wilma the (Imaginary) Welfare Queen who has five different personal IDs, 3 Social Security Numbers and 2 Luxury Hybrids in her driveway from collecting hundreds of thousands per year in Federal Benefits (Food Stamps, General Relief, Medicare & Disability) were not only to Refuse to Pay it Back when caught and convicted, but then would go out and get her buddies and pals (Clearly, Gang-Bangers for sure, uh huh!) to bring Guns (Aks and 9's baby!) to defend her against Federal Officers, that the first thing we'd hear about that situation was how many charred bodies were pulled out of the burning house after the FBI S.W.A.T. Team (Who are known as H.R.T.) knocked down the walls with a battering ram? Then You. Are. HIGH! As far as I'm concerned, this is nothing like Ruby Ridge or Waco, which were disputes - an arrest warrant and a search warrant respectively - that started up over violations of Federal gun charges. This isn't a gun rights issue, nor is it a religious freedom issue.
It's about MONEY, plain and simple. Bundy has refused to pay what he owes the Federal Government. He's refused to pay what he owes to ME, and to YOU. He's shown America about as much respect as he would by going to Mt. Rushmore, climbing on top or Washington's Forehead and relieving himself. This man is No. Patriot.
Let's face it, the reason the Militia is ginned up about this isn't because of 'Merica, or 'FREEDUM', it has to do with decades long case of affluenza. Bundy is a 1 Percenter, so he's admired for his thieving from the public coffers, while Wilma would rot in H.E. Double Hockey Sticks after being riddled with 12 gauge buckshot.
It doesn't matter if some people feel that Bundy is "justified" in his path because of Harry Reid's alleged Chinese/Solar Power Deal or whether the Koch Bros AFP are using this dispute to attack the BLM and gobble up more and more public land for Oil Drilling and Fracking. The former maybe a totally bogus excuse ginned up to accomplish the later - but it doesn't matter.
WE. DESERVE. OUR. MONEY. BACK.
What Bundy hasn't paid to the Feds is exactly the same a stealing. What he hasn't paid for using Federal Property has gone into his pocket after being snatched from the pocket of every tax payer. The same is true of private companies that refuse to pay for public lands for drilling, that refuse to pay for the use of public facilities for their for-profit charter schools, and that park their assets overseas to avoid paying their fair share of taxes to America where they made their money in the first place. They're ALL Thieves and Corporate Welfare Cheats. They either skirt the laws, or they manipulate and deform them to their own selfish benefit, causing the rest of us to pay instead.

Now some may make the extraordinary claim that Federal Land Management that was setup through the westerns states as a result of the Civil War are invalid because those states who Lost the War were put under undue duress. They "couldn't negotiate a fair deal with a Gun to their Heads", therefore these fees are invalid or unconstitutional or icky, or something.
I mean, that argument has totally, completely, absolutely, FAILED in court - but let's just take the point for a moment.
If that premise were valid, then it would also be true that the land negotiations that took place as a result of the duress of the Mexican-American War should also be considered null and void for similar reasons. If were were assume that then Bundy's problems with the Federal Government would be over because if that were the case, the states of New Mexico, California and Nevada - wouldn't be PART of America, they'd still be considered portions OF MEXICO, and he wouldn't be in this stand-off with the BLM, it would be with the Mexican Federales.
I think that under those circumstances, Bundy would properly prefer to take his chances with the BLM than his fellow "legitimate businessmen" like say - El Chapo! - I'm just saying.

7:09 PM PT: Replaced the orginal video - as it had been deleted - with another one from Fox where they were first complaining about Surfer-Dude and his Food stamp [ab]use. This video led to a scathing response from Jon Stewart the precursor of which is shown below. .

The original video I posted was Bolling's response to Stewart which went something like this...

Stewart : Food Stamps are used for Food. It's a fact you can remember with this little pneumonic I used. F.O.O.D. It stands for "Food Stamps Can Only be used for Food. Oh Oh. Dummy."
Bolling: Well let me School you Mr. Stewart, a lot of clowns are withdrawing cash from their EBT Cards and then spending it on other things like Booze, Weed and Lap Dances. You're welcome to come on the show anytime to debate it. Dummy.

Not the Bundys land... Easy enough.

If the people in charge of the land (rightful owners) don't want them there, then they need to move on.

In a sane world, it would and should be. He needs to pay his legally recognized debts.
