i think it means less in nfl than in cfb and especially cbb (meaning fading the line moves) but i have nothing to support thatBB, you are correct.
One of the reasons why I am not very good at betting games is because I don't keep records of how these plays do.
I can tell you that I normally fade all 1 point line moves in the NFL. That is favs, dogs, and overs. Almost never on the under. I think 1/2 point moves in the NFL are good follows but I don't know for sure.
Here is how you would have done fading yesterdays 1/2 times.
Cheifs went from +3 to +4 and lost.
Chargers went from -5 1/2 to -4 1/2 and won.
Falcons went from +3 to +3 1/2 and lost.
Texans went from +3 to +3 1/2 and lost.
Broncos total went from 21 to 21 1/2 and won (under play, I followed)
Vikings went from +3 1/2 to +4 1/2 +110 and lost (last number I saw)
So if you faded them all you would have gone 2 - 4. I faded the two 1 point moves and followed the afternoon 1/2 point move.
Not sure if this means anything in the NFL.

my gg was on FIRE last week in cfb and his confidence is building..... if he doesnt blow out this week i have to declare him a coinflipper which of course is totally worthless
lets get ready for cbb, i may have some more time this year

i cant fade you, youre not emotionally invested in your plays-my man bleeds when his go down and cheers on every game all night, which is exactly what we need but im not sure he even bets real money (im not kidding)-this also makes him extra weird which i like
this fact may be the problem and a mistake on my part for choosing him, i mean look at his videos, you can hear his mom yelling at him to pick up his tube socks in the background-i need him with real dough on the line so he can shit himself properly but i dont think its gonna happen
I was just looking at tonights baseball odds and I was reminded of one of your old plays. If team opens a favorite and closes a dog ......play the original favorite. I am pretty sure those have kicked ass this year.
The NL line moves this year were coinflippers unlike 07.
