BB, you are correct.

One of the reasons why I am not very good at betting games is because I don't keep records of how these plays do.

I can tell you that I normally fade all 1 point line moves in the NFL. That is favs, dogs, and overs. Almost never on the under. I think 1/2 point moves in the NFL are good follows but I don't know for sure.

Here is how you would have done fading yesterdays 1/2 times.

Cheifs went from +3 to +4 and lost.

Chargers went from -5 1/2 to -4 1/2 and won.

Falcons went from +3 to +3 1/2 and lost.

Texans went from +3 to +3 1/2 and lost.

Broncos total went from 21 to 21 1/2 and won (under play, I followed)

Vikings went from +3 1/2 to +4 1/2 +110 and lost (last number I saw)

So if you faded them all you would have gone 2 - 4. I faded the two 1 point moves and followed the afternoon 1/2 point move.

Not sure if this means anything in the NFL.
i think it means less in nfl than in cfb and especially cbb (meaning fading the line moves) but i have nothing to support that
my gg was on FIRE last week in cfb and his confidence is building..... if he doesnt blow out this week i have to declare him a coinflipper which of course is totally worthless
lets get ready for cbb, i may have some more time this year

JD, glad your still around. I'm the GG of the year. It might be to late to fade me now.

Your gg is going to have some tough weeks ahead. I don't think the books are going to put up with this shit much longer.

I agree with the NFL halftimes. Very tough to figure out.

i cant fade you, youre not emotionally invested in your plays-my man bleeds when his go down and cheers on every game all night, which is exactly what we need but im not sure he even bets real money (im not kidding)-this also makes him extra weird which i like
this fact may be the problem and a mistake on my part for choosing him, i mean look at his videos, you can hear his mom yelling at him to pick up his tube socks in the background-i need him with real dough on the line so he can shit himself properly but i dont think its gonna happen

That is funny but you might be right. How can someone post plays and a video and not have money on a game. We are degenerates, we wager first and worry about what happens when we lose later.

Just for the record, after Saturday's plays, I wasn't crying into my scotch and trying to find comfort in the arms of a 40 year old divorced woman. Or was I?

Wake: +1 -110 > $550 to win $500

UAB: +18 -110 > $550 to win $500

Houston: 1st half over 33 1/2 -120 > $600 to win $500

What it looked like to me was the smart money hit Wake early this week and drove the line up to -2 from a pk. Now the late move came from the public moving the line and I'm sure Dr. Bob had something to do with it.

I really like Wake but I think they will be down at half. I will be looking for a Wake and the over 2nd half play. We will see.

UAB is a reverse line move as well. I think Houston crushes them but I have to make a play on a line being driven down with the public on the other side.

Following totals that get bet up is not a good idea. Playing them in the 1st half is. Look for a high scoring 1st half and then the game will slow down.

Crazy halftime for the houston game. 10 1/2 and 28, then taken off the board and back again at 12 1/2 and 30.

Now its back to 10 1/2 and 30. The total has now gone up 1/2.

I going to probably just pass on halftimes even though I like the over. Glad Houston showed up the 1st half.

Things are not going my way. Got the Houston points when I didn't need them.

Maybe my luck will change tomorrow.

Make sure you have some money left.....I here basketballs starting to bounce

JB, how its going my friend?

Hope you still have all your major limbs attacted.

If I lose all my money with football, I'll rob a bank or something to get some basketball money.

I was just looking at tonights baseball odds and I was reminded of one of your old plays. If team opens a favorite and closes a dog ......play the original favorite. I am pretty sure those have kicked ass this year.

The NL line moves this year were coinflippers unlike 07.

Yep. Boston is the play so far tonight.

If NL line moves were coinflippers this year, I must have picked the right ones because I kicked ass in bases this year. I didn't play any unders.

Phillies: over 8 1/2 +100 > $500 to win $500

Just had a nice 7 grand lunch with my local. Its been a long time since I lost that much in a week.

Fading the juice move as playoff totals haven't moved much. If this total hits, I plan on laying $1000 on Boston tonight.
