Never thought I would see this, but it happened. I was in a high class very pricey Steak/Beef restaurant ( that I won't name). It was my first time and it's located in a casino. Anyway, while waiting for my prime rib order, overheard a man in a group of 4 order drinks before their meal.. One man ordered a Bud..The waiter very politely announced, they no longer carried Bud products. YES YES YES!!!!!!

I simply find it respectful not to name the restaurant... The guy took a Coors...I think the others in their "party" had wine. As for as people's taste with beef, I don't know why a beer would be surprising... But have at it.

You can but shouldn’t IMO

Maybe I’m spoiled by the wine here in Cali

Pretty much always go for a Cab with a steak. Sometimes a Merlot or Zinfandel for different cuts

Maybe it’s the rising popularity of craft beer, the fact that my partner is an aspiring hops farmer and brewer, or the simple truth that I am a broke millennial, but when it comes time to chose, I always pick beer over wine.

Did they go for double baked potato or full loaded?

Any spring for a blue cheese crumble on top?
