Urban may be a great coach, but he hasn't won a big one for the Buckeyes yet. He has done great with his other programs, but it's what have you done for me lately in cfb. Now, I wouldn't want any other coach, not asking for that, but he needs to start producing! Looking from a betting perspective, it looks like Bucks would be the side if it were 4 or more I'm guessing. Too many variables I think, better value in other games. 2 days away, can't flipping wait!

Ad btw, Braxton Miller will be the qb next year, no doubt about that Jack! He will never sniff an NFL team unless he becomes the next Denard Robinson in Jax.

Urban is the best Saban is 2nd and then there is just others.
Saban = 4 national championships including three out of the last five
Urban = 2 national championships

In your eyes only ... no one else outside of Urban's family believes he is the best.

hey bucknuts, don't worry Urban will win The National Title Next Season. He will make good on his word and get revenge on Saturday. Ohio St is winning the rest of there games and getting in the playoffs.

r.a. Saban always has the most talent. Urban will get his 3rd next season... Saban might get his 5th this season

Pretty unintelligent post

if you think Braxton is coming back to tOSU next year (he is gonna transfer out and play a year) or if you think they would play him over Barrett.

Barrett is much better than Braxton

WTF are you smoking? Transfer? Barret better? Miller was a Heisman contender, a legit one. He'll be the starter next year and will lead a much more experienced team. Not sure what you've been watching...or smoking. But Miller will be the QB of OSU next year, barring another injury.

Pretty unintelligent post, bro.

Yes torpedo lost all credibility by saying Braxton would transfer to another school. Maybe the most unintelligent post I've read.

Doubtful, Ohio State overcomes the Virginia Tech loss and gets into the playoffs. You can lose to Oregon (Michigan St. on the road) or to Mississippi (Alabama on the road) and still get in but you can't lose to the Hokies ... at home! It will all be moot after they lose to the Spartans on Saturday. Michigan St. is the one and only ranked team Ohio St. has played all year while this is the third for Michigan State. Urban might be a 'legend' but Mark Dantonio has proven he can really coach as well.

Yup. Even though OSU has improved night and day from that game, that loss is a killer. That combined with a weak schedule and it's very unlikely they make the playoffs unless most of the one loss teams in front of them lose and drop more than ususal. Even MSU is no guarantee to being in if they win out.

I like MSU at home, but they have given up the big plays on defense this year that has cost them against Oregon and Nebraska. Connor Cook will have a good day against OSU secondary which is still not very good in coverage IMO. I guess for me it comes down to whether or NOT MSU D can stop the big plays from Barrett as I dont see MSU having much trouble moving the ball down the field. That comebined with no bad turnovers from Cook, and MSU wins. Still not betting it though.

I've heard "OSU is out" repeated a lot on talk radio as well. I agree it's an uphill climb because of the schedule, but I think they are far from eliminated. First we have a long way to go. The committee has said they will take injuries into account. Does not Ohio State losing a 4 year starter and having a freshman make his first home start count? The other factor is conference championships, which is one of the guidelines that can't be taken into account until the last poll.

  • Conference championships won,
  • Strength of schedule,
  • Head-to-head competition,
  • Comparative outcomes of common opponents (without incenting margin of victory), and,
  • Other relevant factors such as key injuries that may have affected a team’s performance during the season or likely will affect its postseason performance.

My $0.02

OSU with a rookie QB on the road and I wasn't impressed with his first half last week.

Losing to VT not looking that good considering the way VT has been playing.

VERSUS

MSU at home with a better QB and better defense.

MSU's loss to Oregon is respectable.

MSU by 2 possessions or more.
