JACKSONVILLE (53.0) @ KANSAS CITY (-8.5)

Last week, the Jags made an amazing come from behind win, and advanced in the playoffs. KC, is now well rested, and is at home. I can see Jacksonville hanging in there, but losing the game straight up. However, KC laying 9 points, may be a reach. My reasoning, KC defense isn’t that stout, and will allow the Jags to hang around. KC should win this game by a touchdown. PREDICTED SCORE, KANSAS CITY 28 JACKSONVILLE 21, UNDER 53.0 POINTS.

NEW YORK GIANTS (48.0) PHILADEPHIA (-7.5)

The last time both teams faced each other, was the last game of the regular season. The Giants benched their key players. Philadelphia won that game 22 – 16, and scored only one touchdown. QB Hurts was mending his broken collar bone, and was just given the okay this week to be activated and start. We don’t know or can’t project his upcoming performance versus the Giants. I can tell you from personal experience, that I suffered a broken collar bone. It took 4-6 weeks to heal, yet once it was healed, I had to rehab, and avoid physical contact. So in this case, Hurts has to make sure that he isn’t sacked and driven into the turf. It also means, that hurts has to limit or avoid running the football from the pocket. Normally, if Hurts was 100% healthy in December, and was putting up big offensive numbers, I would have picked the Eagles -9 points. With the huge improvement of Danny “Dimes”, and a starting lineup in tacked, the Giants should cover the spread. PREDICTED SCORE, PHILADELPHIA 24 NY GIANTS 23, UNDER 48.0 POINTS.

CINCINNATI (48.5) BUFFALO (-5.5)

The biggest problem in this matchup, is that the Bengal offensive line is in shambles. They might have only one starter to protect QB Burrows. In addition, I am not too wild about their defense, and QB Allen should also take advantage of his mobility. In addition, the Bills will produce a better offensive game then Baltimore did last week without their starting QB. PREDICTED SCORE, BUFFALO 31 CINCINNATI 24, OVER 48.5 POINTS.

DALLAS (46.0) SAN FRANCISCO (-3.5)

San Francisco, is my entry representing the NFC in the Super Bowl. San Francisco, played the second half of their season, almost to perfection. They achieved this feat with their third string QB, (Mr. Irrelevent). They have a balance offense, and their defense ranks #1 in the NFL.Dallas, on the other hand , always appears to be treading water all season long. The Cowboys have to realize, that their over matched in this game, and the pressure will be on them. Turnovers will cost the Cowboys. Dallas will also realize, that the Boys aren’t playing the lousy Tampa Bay Bucs. PREDICTED SCORE, SAN FRANCISCO 28 DALLAS 19, OVER 46.0.

Spraining a joint and broken collarbone are far different, doctor. Best of luck with your action this weekend.

Locksmith, you must have not finished your residency he has a grade 2 sprain. This was diagnosed at the end of December, it takes at least 4 weeks to heal. I'm not sure if math was your major, but in regards to the injury he's around the timeline that they're saying he should be out up until. And as of last week, he was using a towel in practice to throw as a simulated ball. Not sure which way this game will go,but I appreciate BW posts

Hurts, played against the Giants two weeks ago. Last time I checked he wasn't throwing a towel during the game.

Lol great response… maybe you missed how he finished the game against the bears. Not questioning if he was hurt or not genius. His collarbone wasn’t broken as BW posted. Thanks for checking in on my doctorate progress though dipshit.

Bottom line about Hurts. The point is, we don't know how he will perform as a QB in a physical game situation. That question remains unknown. Since hurts was injured, the Eagles didn't function offensively. We will see what we will see. Good Luck to all.

BW.....BOL with your picks.

Fracture collarbone = 4-6 weeks. Fortunately for Phil Hurts had an SC sprain, sternoclavicular joint sprain. Recovery 1-2 weeks. But what happens once a 300 pounder lands on him, that shoulder or pressing that shoulder into the turf?

I've been there. I did break my collarbone. The first 3 weeks my shoulder was in pain any time I had to sit up in bed, or on a sofa. As the injury heal, I was limited as to what I could do. Yes, if the shoulder hurts, or isn't at 100%, and he was sacked, or tackled running the football, Game Over.

Jalen Hurts injury update: Why Eagles QB has 'bounty on me every week,' ailing shoulder or not

NFL defenders want to hit quarterbacks. It's no accident that the most protected position is the most sought-out.
Jalen Hurts is well aware of that fact. As the Eagles come off a much-needed bye week and Hurts continues to recover from a sprain of his throwing shoulder, he knows that teams are targeting that shoulder, although he made it clear that's no different from any other week.

"It's football. I've got a bounty on me every week I go out there on the field," Hurts said, per ESPN. "So I'm going to go out there and just play my game, and whatever happens, happens."

Giants safety Julian Love said the Giants would "test" Hurts' shoulder (but not in a targeting way).
"We’re definitely going to test him out and see how good he’s actually feeling," Love told "Tiki and Tierney" on New York radio station WFAN. "He makes their offense go. He’s a talented player. Like you said, he’s been playing at an MVP pace all year, and he’s going to have to earn it. That’s as simple as I can put it. Whether he’s hurt or not, whether he’s feeling it or not, he’s going to have to earn everything he gets because that’s our approach going into this week."

Jalen Hurts injury update

Hurts missed Weeks 16 and 17 of the regular season, but he did play in Week 18 against the Giants.
In that game, Hurts was 20 of 35 for 229 yards and an interception, and he rushed nine times for 13 yards. The Eagles won 22-16.
Hurts wasn't listed on the Eagles' injury report this week and, he told reporters, "I'm feeling good," per ESPN. In other words, he seems to be healthy again with the bye.
MORE: What is the band some NFL players wear around their neck during games?
Hurts' health will be an important factor in this game. The Giants' defense was middle-of-the-pack this season, but if it can key in on something Hurts and the Eagles are doing, it could be tough sledding for Philadelphia. And if the Eagles go all-in on designed QB runs, the Giants seem ready to hit him hard and often.
"The best way to put it is he runs like a running back," Love told "Tiki and Tierney." "When he has the ball in his hands, he’s a running back at that point, so we’ve got to tackle him like a running back. Take that for what it is. Once he takes off, he’s not a quarterback anymore. He’s a ball carrier, and we have to tackle him as such. That’s how we have to play."
The message was: Run at your own risk, because the Giants' defenders won't be pulling up.

Why do you keep up with the Narrative that he broke his collar bone? I don't get it.
