Got absolutely killed going all in on Broncos -7 at Bengals several weeks back. Who wudda thunk it? Take lesson, never go all in on a play, even if it looks like the lock of the century. You never know, you need to stay alive to keep playing & get even! What good is tomorrows winning pick if all your bankroll just shipped to the book today?

So this week i want revenge. Giving fewer points on the road this time around, to a worse team (I think). Saints best LB Derrick Rogers is out, which bodes poorly for what was already worst DFens in NFL. Worst in run DFens, worst in pass DFens. Denver got nice & rested with the bye week, expecting John Lynch to return. I see a lot of Rueben Droughns & ball control on the Broncos side, but not as much in return from Saints offense. Hopefully this time that will actually play out, unlike those bastards in Cinci that wrecked my dreams of getting rich by betting. Saints succeeded against horrible KC Dfens last week but this week? No no no. As long as Saints don't roll out some fluke 21-0 1st half edge, expect the day to belong to the Broncos. Saints don't have the DFens to keep Jim Haslet employed much longer. They're not gonna come out fighting just to keep his tail around.

I like this blurb off of profootballweekly.com -
Don’t look for the Saints to suddenly turn things around in the second half of the season. We’re told the players no longer are buying what the coaching staff is selling, and that they don’t seem to be getting anything out of practice anymore. Head coach Jim Haslett has been trying to get his players to take more responsibility for the team’s problems, but he also has accused the local media of being too negative and called out the fans at times for not supporting the team. Maybe a bigger problem is that there doesn’t seem to be a leader on the Saints who can call a meeting to try to hash out the team’s problems among the players. QB Aaron Brooks isn’t a vocal leader, DT Brian Young hasn’t been around long enough and OT Wayne Gandy and LB Orlando Ruff both have been inconsistent, which robs them of credibility. RB Deuce McAllister might fit the bill, but there is a sense that the season is lost and no amount of talking will solve the problem.

Possible weaknesses in play - turnovers, injuries, a bad start. If Deuce McAllister has the same game he had last week, it will be a close game & the line will be shaky. 2 of 3 Broncos losses were against teams getting 100+ rush yards. Maybe Champ Baily slips again & gives up a TD like he did in Cinci.

Still think the Broncos are one of the sleeper SuperBowl contenders out there. This 4 point line doesn't shout out respect, like the Colts -7 line in Chicago. & Colts got much less DFens! But Strong running game + good defense = wins in NFL. Time for the NFL creme to rise to the occasion.

Broncos 38 Saints 10
