Demonizing mentally ill people will not fix the posting crisis at the RX. Moreover, it's also paving the way to preemptive banning: You're nuts, so you MIGHT post someone's personal info. Bans are already a thing. So is forcible medication via Laura's Law. Don't know what it's like to walk into the RX in crisis while carefully calibrating your words to avoid a ban?

Probably keep people's personal info out of your posts. Some of us live with these risks every day while knowing the biggest danger we pose is to ourselves. 2/3 of bans at the RX can be prevented. But let me remind you that they should be able to ban posters because they may very well become mentally disturbed and cause havoc on the forum.

He basically would just come home to the computer and post thousands of pictures at the RX because his family wouldn't speak to him. .

The RX was his place of peace and calmness. He would pick on anyone and about any subject yet would always post pictures of sporting events and other events taking place. All this while going through the trauma of his personal life.

I say bring back Greenbacks and giving him one last chance.

So very true, and there is much too much of this on here. For example the relentless stalker known as "Redagger029" has been stalking and harassing countless users on here (myself included) and he's obviously got a Rainman thing going on.

There is a posting crisis and mods are WAY too quick to ban and reban legitimate posters. I myself have not had this happen to me and plan to play it straight and by the rules on here so it's unlikely it will ever happen to me but I mean other posters.

Also I made a shit ton of benjamins when I dumped my bitcoin holdings in Dec 2017, it's left me flush and confident about my future

One thing that is a more recent greenbacks development that actually did surprise me is that people actually think he was a good handicapper. People just have no idea how statistical variance works, he had no track record of success capping then probably went 60-40 over a couple of months and all of a sudden a few posters think they're in the online presence of rain man?

If you think someone that mentally deficient can beat something as efficient as betting sides on major sporting events then you completely underrated how difficult it is to do.


One thing I will give him credit for though is he made a lot of contrarian plays, and when you do that and win, it gives people the idea that you know something they don't. If anyone is ever trying to go tout, that is the way to do it. You go 60-40 with that strategy and people think they found the holy grail.
