I hate Goodell but you have to realize why it's hard for some people to buy into the fact that the NFL is just out to get the Patriots. The Patriots are good for the NFL. Kind of like the Yankees in baseball. And Robert Kraft is probably the most respected owner in the NFL or at least one of the most respected. Brady has been the face of the NFL for a long time. Why would they go after them if there wasn't something there. Personally I am so sick of hearing about this shit I just want it to end. There's an argument to be heard on both sides. Just settle it and go on. Brady trying to save his reputation isn't going to happen. The haters probably hated him before and those people aren't going to change no matter what. The people who loved him before will still love him. The people in between like me could give a shit about deflating footballs and realize how good he has been. He will still go down as one of the best QB's of all time. Just settle it.

what about this case makes sense? it's a cluster fuck from the very first lies the NFL spoon fed Mortensen. They lied right out of the gate and have been distorting / suppressing evidence for 7 months

I have no idea as to why, but I do believe there's more evidence supporting a witch hunt than there is that Brady ordered balls to be deflated (or that balls were even tampered with after being approved for the game)

The latest DGAD move ("don't give a darn," for this is a family site) was to tweet NFL broadcast partner ESPN's apology for twice referencing a report about Super Bowl XXXVI in recent weeks. The report ESPN was referencing was presumably the one that the Patriots taped the Rams' practice before that Super Bowl, and it was proven by the NFL to be untrue long ago.
