Check this out fellas

Pricetag is a little high, but tell me this isn't one of the coolest things you've seen in a bit

http://www.myliveboard.com/

The First-of-it's-Kind Personal Baseball Scoreboard
The LiveBoard™ gives users a way to catch the game - even if the kids have taken over the TV for the night, or if you're busy closing a deal at the office. With just a glance, you know exactly what's happening with your favorite team.

The LiveBoard™ maximizes user convenience by offering three modes of operation - depending on your degree of baseball obsession:

Simple Mode:
Set your "Home Team" and the LiveBoard™ will automatically display your team's action whenever they begin a game.

Full Mode:
Adds a level to the LiveBoard™ Simple Mode by automatically displaying any game currently in progress while your Home Team is not playing. The LiveBoard™ detects a current game within your Home Team's division first, if available.

Cycle Mode:
Automatically cycles through the major league, displaying any and all games in progress for a brief time.

Thats pretty damn cool.

I have a scrolling ticker already for the games room which I usually only have on during NFL, but I think this sucker is a must have.

No, wonder the pet rock worked. American buy the most useless things. Now I know why so many people have credit card debt.

TOTALLY USELESS!!!

The reason to want this because your kids are watching the TV is crazy!!! Just buy another TV!!

Or get a sports pager, they show all of that information as well

Its a nice gadget but again for the price and such limited data I would pass on this gadget....JMO

No offense - but if it's too much money for you, then don't buy it.

I think it's a great fit to my games room, and the other poster thinks it'd be a great novelty piece for his desk at work (god forbid there's a hot chick who loves the cubs and wanders by a lot more during afternoon games)

Not everything in life has to be a shovel or a life jacket.

That's what I'm talking about
its all about the novelty of the idea

I'm not using this thing to navigate across the Bering Sea as if my life depended on it.

what a great conversation piece, and not to mention I can fully follow my teams during day games, or even at night if I have to work late

it does show who is batting (their jersey number) at the bottom right

rain delays?!?!?!? maybe it shows D in the inning box, not sure...when they improve it to version 2.0 with updated features, i'll buy that one too

To each his own...I guess. I dont work in an office so I dont see the need to have a conversation piece. I work in a Day Spa and most of the ladies that come in could care less about a score of a baseball game. Its not the $$ but the price is kinda steep for a something so limited...but as long as people like yourselves find it so cool I guess they will sell many of these boxes. Be nice if it converted to a football and basketball score keeper....JMO

A conversation piece? Man you must be begging for attention in your life. That thing is a complete waste of money conversation piece or not. If you dont know any other ways to get scroes on games, you really should quit gambling. Good luck with your useless gadget.
