There are a bunch of underrated players in the league. ROY being one of them , but how underrated is he? When you talk about PG's in the league you immediately mention CP3, Williams and Nash (maybe not now, but past 5-7 yrs) and THEN people mention Brandon Roy , and that , IMO is right on line. ROY is top 5 PG in the league without a doubt, but he is not better than Paul and if I was starting a team I'd have to think long and hard at who I want...Williams or Roy, but I'd probably take Williams as he is more of a PG than a scorer.

As for Granger...he is another one of the most underrated players in the league, but you guys are missing IMO the most under appreciated guy in the league the past couple years. Talk about getting absolutely no LOVE because you are on a dogpile team---Al Jefferson...goes out and absolutely beasts everyone who mans up with him and gets no love...Put him in the spotlight...even in NY (a market that gets a ton of exposure) and he is suddenly one of the best players in the league

hes more like wade where he handles a lot of pg responsibilities within the half court offense.. they are just playmakers that work best with the ball in their hands.. both do a great job getting teammates involved and could take over at pg when needed, but they arent true pgs.. they dont need to be paired with a spectacular pg because of their skills.. they just need someone to bring the ball up, play solid d and hit the open j.

Agree, but neither is a PG. Blake is the PG on the Blazers, Roy is the 2. The reason nobody mention Roy when speaking about Paul and Deron Williams is because he does not play the same position.

Blake runs the point yes, but if we all watch the same Blazers then we know who their PG is. Its clearly ROY. They just don't have a legitimate 2 guard to plug into that spot, so they move Blake to the PG and ROY to the two guard.

Roy leads the team in steals, leads the team in assists and turns the ball over more than Blake, because the ball is in his hands 90% of the time walking it up the court. Although his trading card might say SG, he is the Blazers PG

To be completely honest with you I get rid of Blake in the starting lineup (bring him off the bench) and have ur real PG in ROY and have Fernandez plug in at the 2g. Makes perfect sense....don't know why they don't do that

There is a difference between being a playmaker and being a point guard. Roy is not a point guard. End of discussion. %^_

i'm sorry but that is absolutely ridiculous. he is solid, definitely a good player ot have on your team but...

lebron james, kobe bryant, dwight howard, dwayne wade, chris bosh, chris paul, deron williams, carmelo anthony, amare stoudamire, kevin garnett, tim duncan, tony parker, paul pierce, granger, dirk nowitzki, devin harris, al jefferson..

that's a list of 17 players i would take on my team before brandon roy. i personally think all are better players than him. not a knock on him, just saying you got carried away with that statement. in 2 years rose, mayo, beasley, oden, durant, horford..they will all be better players than roy. i would take all of them on my team over roy right now (oden is clearly worse but will be better very soon and has a much, much higher ceiling than roy).

just my opinion, but it seems like roy has quickly gone from one of the most underrated to one of the most overrated going by a lot of these comments...
