This is not a handicapping question per se, but a popularity question among basketball sports fans... If a poll of only these people were taken which team do they most want to see play The Warriors?

At first I thought Boston easily, but I have only one vote and am not at all certain which matchup, I'd like to see now..

There are good arguments for both sides.

I'd probably rather see Miami. I really like how they play, and they are extremely well-coached. I also think there is something appealing about watching one superstar try to take on a great all-around team. Jimmy vs. Golden State would be entertaining. I wouldn't discount the Heat because of how they defend and their grittiness. They don't beat themselves the way Boston does sometimes.

From a personnel standpoint, Warriors/Celtics might have better match ups. I think it would be fun to watch Golden State offense against Boston defense in particular. Warriors are the one team that has the offense that can do some damage against their length. The shit talking would be out of control in that match-up though. Golden State and Boston both have very obnoxious fan bases. This board also will get pretty spicy with the New England cult we have here.

Miami because I’m a homer but I could see the fans wanting Boston as they haven’t been to the finals in a while.

off the top of my head, was last years NBA finals the first finals that didn’t have either the HEAT or the warriors in it since the Celtics made it last in 2010?

Two best franchises in the league are Golden State and Miami. Well-run top to bottom . Been impressive how both have bounced back from losing generational talent

The winner of their game 7 matchup, will be a very tested team... If Game 7 is a blowout (either way), then the winner should feel confidence at a new level. However, if it's a bruising back and forth battle decded in the final minute; I think the winner may be drained... We shall see.

Game 1 is Thursday nite so they’ll have a few extra days to recover. Just sucks they have a cross country flight but these days, it’s not like they are cramped in coach

Initially, I thought Golden State in 7 against either team.... But am going to use my feelings here.. If game 7 ends in at least a 10 point winner, am taking that winner (as a dog) vs GS... If it's less than 10 points, taking the Warriors. 10 points or more is a blowout, in most cases, but not always....The old days of the NBA it was a BO.

The series itself will have more rest time

Every game will be three days apart, expect for between Game 3 and 4

Very interesting that Miami is +650 to win it all and Boston only +250 when they have to win a game 7 on the road even though they are kind of expected to as a favorite of -2.5

Kinda surprised Warriors are only -190
If you like them bet them now especially if you think the Heat beat Celtics otherwise series line will be higher

Butler goes for 47, Heat make a few more Hail Mary 3s, Heat might win

A lot harder for them if the Globe Trotter shots aren't falling

Threw a little bit on “warriors beat Heat in finals” wager at +1200 before Game 6 solely because of price

Prices have been a little off this series. Boston may very well but should’ve been close to even

Miami is the best 3pt shooting team in the NBA

Strus made one desperation 3. Rest were good looks .
