What's the matter ? Can't you read your own posts ? You posted " Guys like Bonds { and Stuart Scott for that matter} have a huge negative impact on young African-American kids." It's people like you that ramble on about something that you have no clue that causes people to get a distorted view of what's real and what's unreal ! Perhaps you should get off your -ss and go to the Bay area and ask some of the youths who have benifited from some of Barry Bonds charity and ask them what kind of a negative impact Bonds has been in their life !:discuss:

To make a comment like that I would hope you were an expert on the life of Barry Bonds. Bonds has a negative impact on on young African americans???? How so??? because he doesn't run hard on every play or stands in the box watching hi HR's?? So I guess Reggie Jackson had the same negative effects towards young African Americans in the 70's. How about Ali? He must have made a huge negative impac. Keep your eye on the ball here buddy, I think family values and the way you conduct yourself as a citizen is what makes an impact, not how you act on a playing field.

Kermit Alright Lets Have A Serious Discussion Here. I Contend That When Young Kids Stand Around A Diamond Not Running Out Every Ball They Hit Because They Are Emulating Barry Bonds, Then Barry Bonds Is Having A Huge Negative Impact On Young Kids. That Laziness Will Often Times Carry Over Into Classrooms And Other Real-life Matters. How Can You Disagree? Again, I Am Not Saying He Doesnt Donate Money; Lets Not Make That An Issue.
