The 95% is going to be high. In general, favs finish off the board about 25%. Granted, in the 6 and 7-horse fields you like to play it will be a tad lower. I could get an exact figure but the computer I use for that stuff is N/A at the moment.
Also, if the chalk wins in a 6-horse, you shouldn't be worrying about not cashing a low-paying ticket. You didn't use to structure tickets keying on favorites. You use to structure bets to split your picks with non-fav combinations included. I would never key favs in exotics. Using them and keying them are big difference.
If you're interested to know exactly how often favs run off in 6-horse fields, I could look that up tomorrow.

If both of you guys had the same ideals did either of you had a successful 2018 or
losing one?...If you both lost in 2018 then you've failed cause at the end of a day or
year in this case..lol That's the only thing that counts...If what your saying is true and you've

While i'm still here i like to continue to rant before i go to work. The absurdity of this sport is
mind boggling. Not only do you have to handle the handicapping end of it but also the pitfalls
of a race to go exactly as planned...For example the horse gets bumped at the gate or hops in the air
before the race has even started which finds the horse 10 lengths behind the pack. Or the dummy jockey
who decides to run a race opposite what you thought he we do purposely maybe to dump his horse.
Dumb Ass trainers who decide to run there horse back 14 days later when they should be given more time
off to prepare physically for there next race. The cheating end of this sport which sometimes goes left unpunished.
Has anybody ever heard of corrupt racing officials?. Oh i forgot this one...Jockeys who absolutely decide to destroy
there horse like a death wish going for the lead from the outside when they can't possibly win by doing this and leaving
there horse running on empty. Here's a thought DUCK behind the other speed horse inside of you so you won't
DESTROY your horse. I know speed horses are suppose to get the lead or die trying but C'mon already have some
sense. Sometimes the other horses inside won't have any of that so why don't you duck behind these horses and save
some energy for later. I think you can hold your horse back but maybe i'm wrong on this subject. Speed horses can
only run one way {Attack Mode}

ointer:Same problems in football and hoops! Dropped passes, bad passes, penalties, bad calls by refs, foul trouble, hot shooters, cold shooters etc. Bet 110 to win 100 is not so great. Gambling is gambling! I'd much rather wager a few shekels to win a lot, rather than wager a lot to win a little!

Actually it's here not there! I have 2 betting accounts, tournaments which I've NEVER put additional money into and an account for live racing which I haven't put money into in over a decade or more! I like to keep $500 in both accounts so when my balance exceeds $750 I make a withdrawal. Bottom line is YES, I do make money at this game. However, I never make a wager over $20 and do not play pie in the sky exotics, exacta's are my limit.
