I was thinking about signing up at PartyPoker pretty soon after hearing everyone talk about the loose players there. I have been playing at Bodog for a while now, and the game selection there is pretty terrible. Could anyone comment on the relative looseness of the players/games when comparing Bodog and Party? Any info would be awesome....Thanks

I have played at both. I can tell you partypoker is a lot better. The tournaments there are awesome. I placed sixth in a $3 buy in and won 349. Sit and go's are the way to go. I don't play cash games. Bodog site is terrible. It is so slow. Partypoker is much faster, and better graphics. Players are tight in tournaments at party. I feel as though sit and go's you can win a lot of money. Just play for third and you win. i see loose players more at partypoker than i do at bodog. i have made money at party. You will find a game all the time. They also have shootouts at party. Those are mini sit and gos. You buy in, sit at a 10 person table. take third or better and win money, you move on. payouts get better as you go. partypoker is a lotttttt better in my opinion. Good Luck!

There is no comparison. Party is a poker room and Bodog is an Amway scheme...But you may not like Party, most people who play there either love it or hate it...i'm going to tell you why. regardless of which site you play at you must adapt your game to the structures at that site. you cant play at Party the same way you play at Bodog, or Stars or Full Tilt.whatever....you have to take the time to learn the structures, learn the habits of the site, learn what games at what times are best suited for you. this must be done at any site...dont go in expecting to play like bodog and just resume where you left off..step down in money a step or 2, give it a few weeks to find your groove and soon you'll be calling it home. and if in a few weeks you still dont feel comfortable try another..but give them all a fair shot. dont take 1 badbeat and declare you hate the place..
p.s...my name at most sites is AllynLong...fell free to put me down as your referral.....lol
