I know I know it's not fixed, but when you continue to lose your all-in bets as the favourite it just doesn't happen in a legitimate game!! I mean in a less than an hour five all-in bets five loses!! Favoured in all of then. Winning percentage for me between 55-81% and I lose all five!!! Plus anytime I have a draw, specifically a pair and nut flush on the flop in a big pot, I never hit!! AVOID BODOG!!! Anyhow any anonymous sites for Canadian players?

I play there---its fine and you're just experiencing the bad end of variance at the moment.

Unless you plan on running computer programs to track all other players like your opponents are doing on you on other sites---Bovada and incognito is the only way to go

I find this "variance" hard to believe. I mean I have over 100,000 hands played and the most all-ins I've won consecutively is three, and I was the favourite in all three all-ins. I've lost five straight all-ins numerous times despite being the favourite in all of them. Do you win on Bovada? Thanks for the incognito tip!

That variance is par for the course. Thinking that poker software is rigged against you is kind of ... short-sighted. I've been playing winning online poker for 20 years now, and a couple years ago I hit a year long losing streak. Not that I lost every session, or every day, but it was a continual down swing. I gained it all back within a few months. I had read about poker pros hitting insane losing streaks, and now I have experienced one. Yes, it is variance. Shit happens. In the long run, it all evens out towards your EV. I know it's much easier to remember the bad beats you take, verses the ones you give - at least that is my experience, psychologically.

Thanks for the reply! If there wasn't so much personal info on the bloody login, I would give you my password and let you play to see if there's anything fishy. Of course I would give you a % of the winnings. Just uncanny how the big pots I lose when ahead or can't hit a nut flush draw, yet on the shitty pots it's when my hands hold up or I hit.

Jump to conclusions based on limited knowledge much? LOL

But seriously its hard to compare frequency when you are getting sooooo many more hands online vs in real life.
What you have descibed , while painful , is quite NOT out of the ordinary.

The thing is, to get an idea if something is fishy, you'd have to get a really big sample size. If someone logged into my account the year that I had a continual down-swing, it would seem fishy... The funny thing is, I have been chat-banned at global, because I couldn't contain myself when I lost big pots to ridiculous suck-outs (even though mentally, I know it's the donks sucking out that make the game profitable). But, reflecting, the chat ban has been good for my game, because I know I don't have the option of ranting in the chat, so I've learned to coolly just move on to the next hand when some ass-clown plays ridiculously, and wins the pot.

It's been a year since you posted it but I still want to chime in. It sounds like you had a frustrating experience with Bodog Poker, and I'm sorry to hear that. It's always tough when things don't go our way, but it doesn't necessarily mean that the site is fixed. There could be a lot of factors at play, like luck or variance.

Fixed. LOL

Because just about everyone that plays poker thinks they are a winning player and if they lose its because the site has it out for them in particular because he/she is so amazing at poker the site has no other choice but to make them lose....

Seen it a million times. When this kind of player gets lucky it was deserved and when they get unlucky its rigged.

Every online card game is a scam... They aren't real cards. They can throw any card they wants that makes you lose.

It would be like betting on a simulation game. " oh wow; Jalen Hurts just broke away for a 65 yard run" and we are supposed to beleive it actually happened.
No matter what the game is, there is always an element of skill and chance. Sure, some of the cards dealt may not be in your favor, but that's part of the game. It's all about making the right decisions and taking calculated risks. With the right strategy, you can win any game, even if it's a simulated one!
