A while back I was looking into checking out your lines, but every time I tried to look I got this error. I allow almost all cookies (at least ones from lots of other books), but for some reason I can't get your site to work for me in IE. So I tried Opera and Netscape and I was getting just a little Java script with no page to load.

I am not a customer, so it is not a big deal I just moved on, but thought you all should be aware.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Thanks for the heads up. We definitely don't want people not able to access our site to look around. I will try and get that fixed so that you can get a look.

Lander.......your in protest of the Patriot act....and cookies dont bother you.....I tell you what...go to your tools tab on your computer.....click internet options...then click pricacy....so you can set your cookies......then read what it says as you adjust the cookies settings......the more cookies you allow,......the more vulnarable your maching is to spyware.

But your right...no more bitching about BG. Like I said...better than average out.....decent lines....never use customer service(except tonight) so really no comment....overall I WOULD RECOMEND THEM....is that better?<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

Sponge,
They are referring to cookies like doubleclick that are set by ads and are scattered through the net. They are NOT referring to BlueGrass or any other book.

You need cookies. A session cookie you won't see - but it's there. It's more of a security risk NOT to have them as it involves embedding session id's in your URL, and depending upon a very secure/random methodology for doing such.

Just checked with Opera Browser and the home page doesn't load beyond this text apprearing at the top of the screen, same thing for Netscape Navigator:

<%@ Language=JavaScript %> <% Session("InetTarget") = "BGS"; %>

I can get the site to load via Internet Explorer, but still have the cookie warning other mention when I try to login via guest or click "our lines"

Hope this helps.

OK...new day....I was re-reading this thread and the multiple lines coment caught my attention.

On one hand you say that your customer service reps would have to be linesmakers to deal you a seperate line.....depending on wich way you think the bettor might be coming....which I think I would call bullshite on that.....your not that big of a shop(customer wise)..lots of your action comes from agent pkgs.....and agent pkgs typicly are area specific bettors....ie agent from Neb.....most players bet on Neb....so on and so forth.....and you do tons of handle form what I know....but not from tons of players....so to pull up an account....and figure which way a bettor is moving wouldnt be hard...specially in a game like last night....heck I bet 98% of the peope here would know what way a guy who had Jax for the game....wanted to bet at half...if he called for a halftime line.....Iean the game is tied....what he going to do...bet against hiself....not real hard to teach 3-5 customer service reps.

Tell me what makes you decide what line to give people? How do you determine this......I would like to know.....the only thing I can see is....either IP addresses....or account numbers.

Either way...it is my choice to play there or not....and you have every right to deal multiple lines.....no argument on that....just find it funny that your defending of asking for my account number before you gave me a line was...."you dont want everyone calling just to check line.....it takes up time....etc.." Kind if a lame arse excuse now that we all know you deal multiple lines...right?
