How do you grade this wager?

(a) Number of Blue Jackets shots that were saved by the San Jose Goalie.

Or

(b) Number of San Jose shots that were saved by the Blue Jacket Goalie.

Btw, this line was also offered at the same book:

subtract goals from total shots and that is result.

ex: sharks get 30 shots, score 1 goal; that means columbus goalie(s) made 29 saves.

But the math I understand. My question was:

(a) Is this prop counting the number of Blue Jackets shots that were saved?

Or

(b) Is this prop counting the number of San Jose shots that were saved?

 

okay, i get it .

a) columbus' saved shots. since denis made 38 saves the over was a winner.

confess that whoever put up that prop could have worded it better. "total saves by Columbus goalie(s)" is less confusing. to be frank its a pretty dumb prop - they would be better off just putting up shots on goal.
